party weekendvery central .2 mins fromncp car park.bars ,clubs ,shops etc.couldnt understand a male member of reception staff when checking in.[foreign]rooms and public areas first rate for what we had payed.would definately stay here again.

We visited Leeds in April over the Easter Weekend to spend time with relatives. Got a great rate and a very nice room. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Since it was a bank holiday weekend, it seemed like all of Leeds singletons were out on the town each night of our stay and we could hear the sound of music and commotion on the streets until the wee hours. We didnt mind too much. We thought it was kind of funny and once we got used to it, slept anyway. The only issue was the A/C heat....no matter what we did it seemed to be hot and muggy (it was unusually warm for the UK at that time of year - lucky us). Would definitely recommend the property to anyone who needs to be in Leeds. We also ate in the restaurant and bar a couple of nights and while the service was spotty the food was good.

Friendly, helpful and the location was within walking distance to everything that we wanted to visit. The room was small and the bed was double. Good location, friendly and within walking distance to pubs, the Armouries. Which were well worth the visit and the Corn Exchange was an interesting building.

Would like to have been offered Valet parking.Hotel did not know I had booked 2 rooms. Onkly had one booking. Late rooms sent me confirmation of 2 rooms. I may have paid twice because I thought I had paid on booking and hotel siad I had not.

We upgraded to a king executive room, which was very comfortable with a great bed and linens. The bathroom however was not good. The sink had poor drainage, the toilet did not flush properly, the shower smelled of urine. To step into the tub, it was at least a 2 1/2 feet. There were several bars to hold on to while getting in or out...kind of like a jungle gym. It would actually be rather dangerous for many people. The staff was excellent and helpful. The restaurants at the hotel were just okay. There are far better options close by...as in just across the street. The location of the hotel could not have been better. I would stay here again.....with a bathroom upgrade or at least with a bottle of pinesol.

Perfect location. Parking was in pay garage next door. A very nice hotel that was worth every penny. Very much downtown with an adjacent garage, albiet a pay garage. The room wasn't anything to write home about, but was clean and comfortable.

Stayed Sat 10 January 09, had a very enjoyable stay the Queen size bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were extremley polite & helpful, its a must stay and would recommend this hotel to all my friends & family.

The first room that I was given had a fault with the air-conditioning; it sounded as if there was running water sloshing around the system so I asked to change rooms. This was done quickly and efficiently. My biggest gripe was with the fact that they charge you for WiFi. I find this unacceptable in this day and age - particularly as I'd travelled on the train with free WiFi for all. It's just a rip-off.The air conditioning was not particularly efficient which made for a hot and rather uncomfortable night. Food was Ok but nothing special.

Excellent DealFor the price this hotel was excellent. A good quality "business traveller" hotel for budget prices at the weekends. Cheaper on LateRooms than on the Marriott website.Would definatly stay again.
