Got a great deal on a car and this hotel. Price was offset however by the expensive parking, with no other options. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. I was half way down the hall from the icemaker and could hear a loud crashing noise every 10 minutes or so as it produced a new batch. I would HATE to be any closer. Staff was very nice and very professional. Not a place you can take a walk at night. U of Cincinnati is surrounded by a terrible neighborhood. I was alone on business so I didn't care. I didn't eat at the hotel but this survey forces you to rate the dining.

Proximity to my travels. Parking inconvenient.

Nice facilities, but the perfume they spray in the rooms and public areas gave me a horrible migraine. It was convenient during the recent ice storm, though and staff was pleasant. Too much money for limited amenities-glad my company paid for it and not me! The restaurant smelled good, but did not eat there.

We walked to the zoo, met family, attended the medical school graduation. The room was clean and nice, lots of hallway light and noise coming in through door. Nice HDTV. Rooms a little small, but it is a "conference hotel" and I brought the family. Need to bring some water with you, tap water not too tasty, gift shop only sells tiny bottles. Breakfast was expensive, bad, and at times non existent. Table was sticky, couldn't get wait staff attention, half our party wanted to order from a menu rather than eat buffet, they had a hard time getting the wait staff to recognize they needed help. Buffet was empty of prime items and wasn't stocked for at least half an hour when we ready to leave ...

Upscale accommodations in centralized location. Pay for parking and breakfast. Tough neighborhoods close to property. Was advised not to walk alone at night. Would stay there again simply because the hotel was clean and upscale, staff was service-oriented.

We have stayed at this hotel 3 times in the last year and it has always been a wonderful experience. The staff is always courteous and helpful, the food is good and the beds are wonderful!

This was a pleasant surprise to find a nice hotel in the university/hospital section of town. I would never have looked for a hotel there had I not been desperate for a room on a busy weekend.

Staff was great, very close to UC. Great hotel near UC, nice rooms at a great price.

Hotel Staff was super friendly and accomodating. Didn't like that we had to pay for parking in addition to hotel fee. For the Priceline bid, this was a great stay. We especially liked how close it was to all of the restaurants, etc.

The staff at the Kingsgate is very attentive, well-trained and caring. Whenever I travel to Cincinnati I try to stay at this property.

Clean, good quality. Location was sketchy even though it was near university.

I stay here when visiting my daughter who is a student at UC. She often stays in the room with me because the room is cozy, the beds are very good and she can get some rest. The entire hotel smells nice. The decor is very nice (and trendy). Good security. The following are things which are not so great about the Kingsgate: 1. They charge $15 per day to park the car (in/out privelages). 2. We are vegetarians and there is little on the menu for us in the restaurant or bar. For this type of hotel there should be more than cheese pizza, vegetable quesadillas and salads. (They really need to work on the scrambled eggs, too.) 3. The TV. Bad. I was here during the snowstorm last year and it would have been great to watch a movie. The channels are minimal and the cheapest pay per view was $13. 4. Toiletries. Too much of the spa thing. Something more basic without strong scent would be preferred. 5. That portrait of the Marriotts in the elevator lobby is pretty funny. One of them is holding actual blueprints which haven't been used for about 40 years... Is this hotel that old?

Nice clean hotel with friendly staff. Hard to find. Nice clean hotel with friendly staff. Our GPS and that of others couldn't find the hotel. We asked for directions and nobody seemed to know where it was. The location was great for U of C but far from downtown.

My grandson loved the big screen TV's. Nothing was really within walking distance. Upon arrival the staff was welcoming and efficient. The lobby was warm and inviting. Our room was beautifully appointed with the large pillows and big screen TV. We checked at the front desk a couple of times and were given directions to perfect restaurants for ice cream and breakfast.

The Kingsgate Marriott is one of the nicest hotels in the area, especially if you are visiting the area hospitals. The beds are very comfortable. The room is bright and airy. Just be careful with the parking fees.

The lobby was great! Valet parking is a must, and a little costly. Room was small, fitness/ pool and amenities left lots to be desired.
