Just spent a night in one of the "deluxe" shoebox size rooms with a glimps of the opera house from the opera house view room. We feel we where over charged for everything especially after we found that the valet parking guys decided to STEAL the change from our car. I guess $40 just isn't enough for valet parking. The bed was caved in. It was without doubt the WORST NIGHTS STAY of every hotel we have EVER stayed in. Save your money!!

We stayed in June 2008. The suite was wonderful with a beautiful view of the harbor and the opera house. The staff was most helpful, the hotel manager even walked us to the transportation kiosk so that we could buy bus, ferry tickets for the areas. Thanks again GG

Fabulously convenient location; new, clean and sharp. Reservation was not kept; had to move to handicapped accessible room for first night to get a non-smoking room.

The room,view and locaation was just great as we had a function at the Opera HOuse with our daughter, the red bus service was great way to get around to different attractions.

In one word - Opulent. The staff were wonderful and happy. The rooms are superb. The location excellent. The pricing of the rooms range from affordable then upwards, but all rooms are great. The hotel does packages which does make it 5 star people can afford.

A great location makes this 4 star hotel shine! The hotel is nice if located anywhere, but the location is ground zero for getting anywhere in greater sydney. Trains, buses and ferries are all within 2 blocks, just a bit more and you in the rocks or at the opera house. Good dinning scene nearby and easy connections by train directly to and from the airport too. Rooms are small but nicely equiped, some with great views of the bridge, harbor, and opera house. Elevator waits are the only minor complaint.

Close to Circular Quay and excellent concierge services. Room was smaller than expected. Good hotel for families, but not at all romantic or luxury chic. All amenities are of good quality, clean and what you would expect from a top end Marriott and more for business travelers. The location is great-- close to the Circular Quay and plenty of restaurants, cafes within a 10 minute walk. Also very easy to get a taxi from the hotel. The concierge services were top notch.

Wonderful pillowy bed-nothing better. No coffee maker. Deluxe hotel. Rooms extra quiet for middle of city. Pillowy mattress was divine. Lack of coffee maker, even after asking. Overall comfortable and quiet. Separate shower and bathtub in spaciuos bathroom.

Location. Inhospitable staff. Great location, poor everything else. Food was awful. Room was American-styled and out of date compared to similar nearby hotels. If you pay for the upgraded view, the view is great, but you'll find out self looking out a very small window.
