Staff was superb. Always ready to help with anything I needed.

Room and bathroom were spacious and had very attractive appointments. Lovely amenities and cordial staff, especially at initial check-in. The room was spacious and well-appointed, very clean and very attractive. I would definitely stay at this hotel again without hesitation.

I stayed with my best friend, we had a great time. The room was clean, hotel was nice. Staff at the front desk was super friendly and anytime we had a question, they had an answer. It was quite, safe, and clean. Hot tub and pool were clean and towels large and clean. Hotel bar was nice to stop in after a long day out. I would stay here again, hands down. Great location we walked to the water fire.

My trip to the Marriot in Providence was a very short & last minute trip. Due to those factors I had no place to leave my dog Beautie, so she came with me. The "Doggie Package" was amazing they provided a bed, food & water bowl, treats, a brush, a toy and wee-wee pads if needed for the paper trained dog. They had a designated area for those of us who have train our pets to go outside. the package was 49.00 and well worth it!!! All of the employees, from the front desk, to the bellmen and cleaning staff, were so friendly to me and my dog even room service gave "Beautie" a special hello and "good girl" before leaving. We will be coming up again in about a month for another short trip. This time I will be bringing Beautie beacuase I want to, not because I "have to". I thank the Marriot Providence so much for their excellent service and care!!!

We spent one night at this hotel and loved it. The rooms were nice and comfortable and we enjoyed the pool area very much. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was close to the downtown attractions, but still a few blocks drive.

I asked for a quiet room so that I can study for a major professional exam. They put me on a poolside room on the fourth floor. On Sunday, from 12-5pm, there was party at the pool with music so loud that not only could I not concentrate but that a friend could hear the music coming into the room through my cellphone.

Checked in Friday all went well. Saturday quick breakfast in the convenience store - no smile/out of uniform/ and no 2% milk out. When I asked for 2 % the clerk put a jug on the counter and I went over and go it - no service. I had dinner at the Blue Fin grille and had a great piece of Halibut. Asparagus and rice were done just right. The bartender was hardly friendly. I needed to get to bed early, 9pm, but couldn't due to a reception on the pool deck. Very loud - ended about 11pm and I had a wake up call scheduled for 2:50am. Like many of us that booked there, we were there for an Ironman event. Sunday after returning from the race about 3:30pm there was a "Hot Body" contest, with I guarantee you people who were not guests of the hotel. I called the front desk and she said it would be over by 5pm. I tried wrapping my head in a towel and using cotton balls. Fed up I went to the front desk and she let me have a room as far from the pool deck as possible so that I could nap for an hour before going to dinner with friends. Of the three nights there I got one peacefull nights sleep and would like to be reimbursed for the other two. Later that night after returning from an awesome dinner on Federal Hill I stopped in for a nightcap, same bartender same horrible service. No smile, didn't remember me from the night before. Upon checkout, after being asked how I enjoyed my stay, I repeated the above and recieved an apology. I needed more than an apology.

Friendly staff. Nice newer facilities. Great swimming pool. Lack of a safety deposit box inside the room. This hotel is a little further away from the city center than the Marriott Courtyard and hence a little less convenient. Although there is a free shuttle to anywhere in town, the day I was staying there it was out of service. The facilities and rooms are fairly new and quite attractive. In my opinion this is a great value for the money.

This hotel was conveniently located for us. The people were helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable although some things were well worn such as the drapes. We'd go back.

Very average rooms. The A/C was so noisy that I had to switch that off. The front desk girl claimed that Orbitz did not notify the hotel that I had asked for a queen bed. Overall, I will never stay in this hotel again. I stay in Westin for last 5 years but my last check in was delayed so I tried different hotel. Very disappointed. When I was leaving the hotel, I have my suits in my hangers, The girl asked me as if I was stealing their hanger.

Exceptionally clean, great lobby with bar, fantastic pool. Nothing I didn't like. This hotel beyond met my expectations. I was very pleasantly surprised. My husband and I travel a lot and were not expecting much. Booked it mainly since it was close to the graduation we were attending and because parking was free. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The lobby bar was a great place for drinks and some snacks. The room was a good size with a small fridge, coffee maker with tea and coffee provided. The pool although we did not swim in it was one of the best looking I have seen in a long time. Indoor/outdoor pool all connected together. You could swim from one right to the other. Nice outdoor lounge/bar with a fire pits surrounding the area as well. The hotel was very quiet even though there were 2 wedding receptions and a prom going on. Minutes from all downtown areas as well if you have a car. You won't be disappointed with this hotel.

Great place to stay for RISD graduation. Easy interstate access, free parking, convenient hotel shuttle, and close enough to walk to many events. Spa and pool area a big plus for relaxation. Close enough to food and drink alternatives as the in-house was a little pricey for the area.

Free parking, comfy beds, friendly staff and cool courtyard bar.

It's great hotel. Everything is perfect except there is no free WIFI. It's strange that you have to pay for using internet while most of hotels including cheap low class ones are offering free internet.

The outside pool and bar were beautiful. Staff was very slow to respond to maintenance problem. We requested a room change due to a non working air conditioning unit. An engineer was sent to the room and it took over 3 hours to have the unit replaced. We were eventually moved across the hall - which could have happened when we initially reported the problem.

It was very busy at the hotel so it was very noisy. Once they found me a clean and quiet room, my stay very nice. The staff except for the restuarant was extremely helpful. I would definitely go there again.

It was conveniently located. The staff were extremely unhelpful. The food was terrible and was received cold.
