First of all, we were four people. And my room has only one king bed. So, hotel prepared blanket and pillow for us. Hotel staff are very friendly and kind enough to wait on us comfortably.

Located downtown. $30 parking fee. The hotel charges $30 dollars per day for parking and the valet parking was the best part of my experience at this Marriott. I have stayed at more than 20 Marriott hotels across the country and have never experienced one of this poor quality. From the inside of the room I felt as though I was staying at a Days Inn or a motel 6. There is a charge for Internet usage in the business center and the TV was so antiquated.

I was tired and wanted to get a nap in before my meeting that night. I was appalled when I pulled back the covers to see hair. I called the front desk and was told someone would be there immediately to take care of it. Well, an hour later I had to call again to finally get someone there. I got a call the next morning to tell me the whole staff was yelled at, so fearing retaliation I didn't get my room cleaned the rest of my stay. I assume this is the care they give to towels, robes etc... When the car showed up to take me to my meeting it took me 20 minutes to get downstairs due to the one operating elevator. The next day, however, the manager did call to offer me a free breakfast buffet the following day in addition to the free dinner the night manager gave me the night before. The only thing is the night manager didn't offer me anything. After enjoying my 3 pancakes and cup of coffee from the 20 dollar breakfast buffet, I noticed the free buffet coupon was only valid on Saturday or Sunday, I was there from Monday-Wednesday and they wrote that it expired on the day I checked out just to make sure I couldn't use it on a return trip should the rest of the hotels in LA be booked up giving me absolutely no other choices.

Me and my husband found a great " last minuet deal " for LA including flight + hotel + car so in this case we did not picked this Marriott. However, we liked the hotel. It was clean and nice and if you are in LA for business, God this location is amazing it is just right in front of World Trade Center and many other banks and institutes. We did not like the restaurant and bar much it was pricey for what they offer and you have to use Valet Parking * pn, which is not too bad for downtown LA. Over all it was good but if I want to go to LA again for vacation I would not stay there, I perhaps book a room in Hollywood district or Santa Monica!

Hotel staff were excellent and walking distance to shops and metro. Did not have mini-bar as no fridge, but we got one later upon request.

I liked the friendliness of the staff. I did not like the $30/day parking fee, and the money held from my debit card.

However we had requested a 2 bed room for 3 people, as soon as they saw we had not reserved through them, they gave us a room with 1 bed. I had to sleep on the couch since they SAID they were out of roll beds too. They gave us the noisiest room by all the air condintiones for the huge building, nad they were turning on and off every 5 minutes all night! Worst night of my life. In the morning after my omplains they put us in a quieter 2 bed room that they said they had quite a few the last night but couldn't give it to us since they were reserved directly through them, and had to keep them available. I will never do this again. I will reserve the room through the hotel, the way I had always done. Seems like they screw you if you don't.

The hotel itself was very nice. The staff was exceptional, taking care of our needs and planning our activities. They booked most of our events and arranged transportation. There were only three drawbacks: 1) The hotel is far from many of the activities that we wanted to do. 2)It is about 25 minutes from the LAX airport. 3)They charge $30.00 a day for their paying guests to park at the hotel. But, the hotel itself and the staff make you very glad you stayed there.

Great location, friendly staff, nice amenities. Pool under construction temporarily. Located in the heart of downtown L.A., the Marriott is easily accessible from several freeways. The rooms are nicely appointed and comfortable. The staff very professional and eager to please. It is completely non smoking, so smokers are banished to the area near the parking cashier. I have stayed here many times and will be happy to in the future.

I vacationed to the LA area with a friend of mine for the first time. The location was good because it was fairly close to all other places we wanted to see. The hotel food was good and the rooms were clean and it was a nice and quite location.

My husband and I traveled to L.A. with our college student daughter who was possibly looking to transfer to L.A.. The Marriott provided us with excellent service and a very clean professional enviorment. The only downfall is the parking in $30.00 a day not including tipping for everytime you need to get your car.

Nice room. Unhelpful personal at the drive up. Very high valet parking rate. Hotel was great. Parking arrangements are terrible and a rip-off. Staff completely unhelpful at recommending alternative parking suggestions. Not what you expect at a 4 star hotel.

The second night that i got back to the hotel in the evening, there were two guys hanging out in the lobby, which obviously were not guests there. They were hitting on me and my friend and we felt very uncomfortable. They kept harrasing us and followed us towards the elevator. After we screamed at them to get away, then they left us alone but still cursing us out. The front desk saw everything but didn't do anything about it. Totally do not recommned this hotel, especially if there are only girls travelling.

The hotel is in a great location, close to the places I wanted to visit. The room was clean, comfortable, and at a good price. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. When in Los Angeles, I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Convenient in downtown and to USC, loved the map of downtown they gave with names of restaurants and banks, etc on it. This is a convenient place to stay in downtown LA. It is close to almost everything and easy to get on the highway. Pleasant rooms, very simple. This is not a ritzy place to stay.
