Date of Stay: September, 2007

Parking was very close as this hotel was part of the Convention area in downtown Hartford. The parking garage is connected to the hotel and there is valet parking. It is rather expensive to park if you are driving your own car. The lobby was nice and the staff was very professional. There was an Italian restaurant in the lobby as well as a bar. The italian restaurant also provides room service to the rooms. Be warned though, it may be better to eat somewhere else because the food is very expensive, but it is a 4 star hotel and the food is excellent. The room was very well equipped with a desk and table combo, a chair and foot rest, highspeed internet access, and even a safe under the TV for your valuables. The hotel also boasts about its fitness area and pool which is impressive as its on the upper floors. There is even a ballroom for parties and several meeting rooms for business. The hotel is in a good part of Hartford near the convention area, so don't worry about safety. Overall, I guess it was a good expierence and it was worth the money. Just remember that it can get expensive if you eat at their restaurant or use the room service.

I was very pleased with the room. It was very clean, there was no dust on the furniture, looked very nice, bathroom was clean... I have stayed at many hotels before and I have had many problems and this was worth it.

The rooms were wonderful, beds very comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Can't think of a thing! If you're staying in Hartford, stay at the Marriott. Great facility, great location!

It was an attractive hotel with a very friendly staff. The only negative thing about the hotel was that you could hear a lot of noise from the hallway. It was a nice hotel. The staff was real friendly and helpful. Other than the hallway being noisy I don't have anything negative to say about it. Self park could have been closer to the hotel.

It was clean. Room was small, parking was expensive. No towel bars. The hotel has a spacious lobby with lots of amenities. The staff is courteous, although they woke us up at 8:00am to clean the room. The rooms were very clean but mine was on the small side. Lots of good amenities, though I didn't use any of them.

Good Location, very nice. Room service was terrible, we never received breakfast after a 2 hours wait. Great Hotel, friendly staff. We were attending something at the convention center, so great convenience. We ordered room service at night- it took a really long time for 2 bowls of soup and a salad. Also, I pre ordered my breakfast the night before to be delivered at 8:30am, I called several times and they kept telling me it was coming. We had to be at the Convention center at 11am, so we left our room at 10:40am- still no breakfast was delivered.

Beds were very comfortable. Charged for internet, parking cost way too high. Very nice hotel, very corporate feel. Ridiculous that they charged $10/day for internet access and parking via was $20/day. Decent location, other hotels are closer to the bulk of the downtown restaurants.

Nice facility. Nice room. Comfortable bed. Not much to do within walking distance of hotel. Nice hotel. Great room with comfortable bed. However, the hotel is located next to convention center. If you are going for a convention then this is the place to stay. But I walked for a long time to eventually find a Duncan Donuts when I was looking for some lunch. The hotel was too far away from restaurants and shopping.

Convenient; clean; competent staff; comfortable room. No HDTV connection for flat screenTV in my room. The hotel is easy to get to from the highway, and close to where I conduct my business in Hartford. The room is up to my expectations, the staff is attentive and the price was right.
