The Marriott in downtown Anchorage was very comfortable and conveniently located. Conference center meeting sites and downtown shops and restaurants were easily within walking distance. The hotel restaurant provided excellent dining opportunities. It was especially welcome to be greeted each morning with an array of fresh coffees in the room and again in the lobby. Staff members were friendly and responsive to requests for information, cabs, etc.The room was very pleasant, adequate lighting, most comfortable bed with lots of fluffy pillows. Comfortable and comforting stay!

Meets 3 star expectations. Way too expensive. I understand the summer price in Anchorage go crazy; but there should be some allowance for AK residents. Hotel is too expensive in summer. Due to work I needed one hour late check out and they would not grant me one hour. The maids couldn't get to all of the rooms on that floor in that short time frame.

I had booked with a different hotel and found it to be unclean, when I called the Marriott, they helped me book my reservation for the next four nights and were even able to check me in early! The staff was super. When I needed service in my room they took care of it right away. Wonderful view!

My dad had to attend meetings at this hotel and my mom and I played. The staff was extremely helpful! I would stay here again in a minute! We really enjoyed our stay here!

I travel a lot on bussiness and when returning recently my two girls 8 and 13 had asked mentioned that they would like to experience the hotel life. So I suprised them booking a two nights stay at the Downtown Anchdorage Mariott. It was Awesome! We played in the pool each morning...very clean....better yet warm. We layed in bed ordered room service for breakfast. I actually giggled at the fact the room service was better than a lot of 5 star hotels i had stayed at. We spent our days shopping and Nordstroms and the 5th ave mall. This is a very short cab ride from the hotel. maybe 3 minutes. Here again great location. Its a smaller hotel but I would highly recomend to the bussiness person or just that weeekend getaway. I've stayed at most of the hotels in anchorage and i would say it's definetely in the top three.

The room was spacious and clean. No parking! $14 to valet park. Internet is not free. I would not choose to stay at this hotel again. They do not have parking, you either have to try and find meter parking or valet for $14 every time you come and go but then when valet is full your only option is to find street parking, not an easy thing to do. Also, the hotel seems to pride itself on being for business travelers yet you have to pay for the internet. I don't think having free internet would break the bank.
