The restaurant was understaffed over our holiday stay. Other than that everything else was great. Very pleasant staff who quickly took care of any request.
Date of Stay:

Staff was friendly and good location, great pools and good restaurants were nearby.
Date of Stay:
April, 2008
The rooms were very nice as was the staff. Nice fireplace in lobby also. The resturant needs improvement during breakfast. Took us, 4 people, 1 1/2 hours to get in & out. Enjoyed the location a lot!
Date of Stay:

Although the pricing for this hotel is on the steeper side, the hotel is very comfortable, and the beds are like being back in the comfy sheets of home. Nice place to stay and a quick trip into the Rockies.

Good location. Cleaning staff was noisy early am in hallways. A nice upscale property with all of the amenities you would expect at a Marriott.

We loved the spacious suite--a great value and beautiful furnishings. Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful. We liked having parking next to the hotel as well as valet parking. The location allowed us to get to all events easily and quickly. Felt pampered with the robes and amenities.

The hotel was confortable and clean. I would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay over the weekend! Fresh baked cookies at the front desk were yummy! Staff was excellent, service was excellent! The front desk told us that the hotel is getting a guest room redo soon.

i had to make a stop up to Vail, and meet someone. the room service was Awesome the restaurant was great, and I got to do some great shopping across the street at the Colorado Mills. Definitely would go back!

There was no free internet connection, very inconvenient for business traveler.
Date of Stay:
February, 2007
Hotel was busy due to weather. Room service was running slow. However, the restaurant was happy to prepare a takeout order for us. Our only real complaints were that, with the thermostat in our room set at 60, it was still very hot in the room (in Feb.) and that the in-room Guest Services book was really out of date...restaurants that no longer exist, outdated internet instructions, etc. Further, I don't understand why I should have to pay 10 a day for internet when much cheaper hotels offer it free. Overall,a very good stay and we'll stay again.

The Denver Marriot West is in a good location and a very pleasant grounds. The staff were extremely friendly and answered all of my requests quickly. The food and restaurant service was good. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Getting internet access should have been included in the price as it was not even Wi-Fi and difficult to set-up. The area my room was in sounded like it was being re-modelled and I was not informed, building noises during Saturday morning was disturbing. All the same I enjoyed my stay and will definitely be returning.

I really liked the location and the staff was excellent in recommendations. They did not have a King sized bed, which I requested. The staff was great and recommended a great place to eat. They knew what I was looking for and directed me to a great location.

Last Sat night, about 20-30 teenagers were slamming doors, running down the hall and creating havoc. The front desk told me they were short staffed to do anything. Things quieted down about 12:30 AM.The following morning, I checked out via phone. I left my keys in the room. Long story short, it took 3 trips back and forth between the front desk and the room to retrieve my keys. I will NEVER stay in another Marriott.

Very clean and comfortable. No free WiFi. My only complaint was that there wasn't free Wifi. Last time I checked, this is 2009! Even McDonald's offers free Wifi. The hotel needs to catch up with technology and stop trying to charge for internet! Other than that, it was great though.

Excellent pools (indoor and outdoor) and fitness center. Fee basedWIFI (I did not use). This hotel is everything you would expect for the star level, I generally enjoyed it very much especially the superior pool and fitness center. The hotel is very convenient to I 70 and lots of shopping and restaurants. My only complaint is that my express checkout included about $50 in charges that I did not make from the restaurant. When the desk clerk pulled the paperwork and I looked at them, it wasn't like someone had purposefully written my room number. The receipt were sloppily written and not even completely filled out, but were clearly for two other rooms. I can only assume the restaurant staff misread the handwriting even though a careful inspection would not have yielded my room number. The desk clerk took off the charges, but this speaks to sloppy work by someone and a slight aggravation for me.

I would have liked to have free wireless internet. $12 a day is silly.

Close to shopping and restaurants. Good value and location for business travelers.

Very high quality for an extremely reasonable price.
