The staff wasvery friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Only one complaint. Apparently, the walls are thin b/c we could hear the romantic couple in the room next door! Very nice,upscale hotel with a friendly, helpful staff! We would definitely consider staying here again.

The room is nice and quite. We were well rested during our stay. However, no self-parking is available and the valet service is pricey and not so good.

I am hoping we got Marriott points and it was cheap. It was expensive and valet stunk. The restaurant food is terrible and expensive. The dining room needs updating along with the whole hotel.

Everyone at the hotel was so very friendly and willing to help in any way. The room was just beautiful and we felt like we were sleeping on a cloud on the incredible matress! It was close to everything we needed. We did not get in our car until it was time to leave. Loved our stay in NOLA!

Our experience at The Marriott was very enjoyable. Our room was clean, quiet and well kept. We most enjoyed our visit to Wolfe's. Chef Terrance is fantastic! The grits were the best!! Our wait staff [...], was friendly and more than accomodating. We could eat at Wolfe's everyday! We will return.

Agree with previous poster that this hotel was an oasis in the city. Staff was beyond compare. Friendly and professional yet down to earth. Rooms were immaculately clean and beds heavenly! Location was great for us. Across the street from Riverwalk shops and about 10-15 min walk to Bourbon Street. Parking was $25/day! They only have valet parking but I was told you could request an alternate location to park. Taxes can be a little pricey. Overall a great hotel with great staff but we have no desire to return to New Orleans.

"I attended a meeting at this hotel expecting New Orleans would be still recovering. This hotel is an oasis in the city. Awesome new hotel, great beds and a staff that never says no. If you want a great stay for you $$ and a great location across the street from the Convention Center. We will be back!"

parking (valet only) was $28 per day. internet is room was pay daily. computer in lobby was pay daily. no computer printer was avaliable. no free breakfast was offered. in short the room price did not include any services most of the hotels (including marriot) i use provide. the bathroom was free however.

"This hotel has a great location, but their customer service is terrible. ""Guaranteed"" room rate wasn't true, the ""Business center"" they offer is actually in a hotel over 2 blocks away. The staff was noisy and unfriendly, with no desirable amentities to be offered!"

We were totally satisfied with the events that were planned for our sales meeting; meals were excellent and staff were efficient and professional; front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Only wish we could have stayed longer!!
