Lovely view of river and castle, ideal location, staff helpful, room luxuriously appointed. internet not included and pricey--otherwise, extremely satisfying.

The view was great of the Danube. WIFI was $100 and not included. Tram is directly in front and the river cruise boats as well. I was able to master the tram and subway which were conveniently located. My husband was able to sight see easily with the Budapest Pass which works on all transit. (Highly recommend it).

Everything was beyond my expectations...hotel staff goes way beyond the call of duty. Concierge very helpful and knowledgeable. Chef...nothing less than spectacular. Food presentation as wonderful as the quality and taste. I highly recommend this hotel as its location in Budapest is right in the heart of things. Beds and room were new and beautiful. If you have the opportunity to stay here....by all means do so.it is fantastic. I will return!LYN

Very accommodating. Just what you expect from Marriott. People make all the difference. And, these people were great.

Newly renovated, very nice and clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Porn/Lesbian adult option on the TV movies. This isnot family friendly and is a huge temptation to businessmen traveling on their own.

The location and the room were superb! The outside of the hotel is comically ugly! It's a wonderful hotel in a great location. I don't stay at many 5 star hotels, but there was a small amount of room for improvement so I would classify this as a strong 4. Easy to find and all rooms literally face the danube and the castle across the way!

The views and location are unparalleled. Marriott rarely disappoints, and this hotel was in line with that expectation. The staff was perfect, the amenities were great, the location and view priceless. Transportation, shopping, and dining are within very short walking distance. We still discuss this stay as one of our favorites.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The beds were wonderful and the location was great. I tried to contact the concierge three times to no available. Generally, a great hotel. Nice and clean, but certainly not the luxury I expected from a 5 star hotel. The location and the views are wonderful. Located right on the river, with easy access to both the Buda and the Pest side of the city, with plenty of opportunities to take in the river and it's beautiful views.

Danube location.Every room has great river view. Breakfast buffet is expensive. Centrally located right on the Danube in Pest, every room has a glass wall with spectacular river views day and night. One window opens for fresh air (a rarity in modern hotels). Bedding is excellent (pillow top mattress and ultra-fine cotton sheets). Rooms are very attractive. Location is near all major tourist sights. Short walk to metro.Cannot imagine a better location or more comfortable room in Budapest.

Big, comfortable room with great views of the river and the castle. We had to change the room because there was some kind of electric noise. Great hotel just close to the river with really comfortable rooms. Walking distance from all touristic places.

The room was very comfortable and pleasant. Exorbitant rates charged for internet usage. The Marriott was almost finished renovating its gym during my stay.

Beautiful view from the hotel, excellent location. Our room was smoking room although we requested non-smoking. Outrageously expensive parking at the hotel's own garage. $50/night! Our room was smoking room although we requested non-smoking. Outrageously expensive parking at the hotel's own garage. $50/night! No breakfast included. Otherwise excellent view, hotel, service. The best location! I really recommend this hotel to everybody.

Two double beds in the room, since most European hotels only have two single beds for double occupancy.
