Small room with typical conveniences. Had problems with internet connection and TV. Expensive meals. Clean, easy access to highway, relatively quiet, nice setting.

View of room. Internet is too expensive, $13 per night. Most of the hotels provide it for free.

the front desk staff was very good at only attended to the ""well dressed guests"" if you had a t shirt and jeans on you were really snubbed. this happened more than once and to more than one family. We had at least 100 families stay there for a soccer tournament... the wait staff in the resturant did not treat you like this hence they were tipped well. Maids really need to learn how to clean. Gift shop guy was fantastic. Pool was very cold. Never judge a book by its cover...

It's lovely to see all that green and the river with the lily pads out the window. There are the spots of color from the canoes in the lagoon. You are so close to everything, yet it's a vacation to just be there and relax. The grounds are well kept and you feel welcome to go out into the garden and sit and relax. I was on the first floor for the first time and I went out on to my patio and sketched for a long time because it was so pleasant.

Clean, attractive, friendly. Operator was unfriendly on the phone a few times.

We were there to attend a wedding in Sudbury, MA. The hotel was a perfect location to visit Boston's surburban areas, and to get back to Boston effortlessly. The hotel itself is tastefully decorated; the restaurant food was excellent and the servers were attentive. We enjoyed it very much.

Room had a very nice view of blooming trees, birds, and the water. I liked the large view window. I thought the resturant/lounge was very overpriced. I paid $350 for an ice tea and $13 for a club sandwich. It was okay but I was disappointed that they want to change me for parking my car $9.00 per night. This was not a city location nor did they have an issue with parking. I asked the front desk about this charge and they said all hotels do it..yes, I agree if it is in the city with valet parking only but this was self park with lots of room in the lot to accomodate. I felt that the Marriot hotel is taking advantage of people staying there and is not necessary. It really turned me off and I will not be staying at this location again especially since I have a choice where to stay.

We planned a last minute trip to Boston for Memorial Day weekend. The Marriott offered us a good rate and a room with a view of the Charles River. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn't change anything. We definitely recommend this hotel.

Interior is better than its exterior. Looks like an hospital.

Had a pleasant , restful, peaceful stay.

Fitness center. $9 per night for parking. Rooms and public areas were clean. The fitness center, pool and hot tub were well kept. The $9 per night fee for parking was unreasonable although with what I got the room for on Priceline I couldn't complain. The restaurant was too costly.

This Marriot has been great. This was our second stay in as many months, and we would come back in a flash. The hotel is right off the turnpike, and has two restaurants, overlooking the Charles and were here in May for family members Law graduation. We were so pleased with the restaurants, and service, as we hosted two small celebration parties here. The rooms are great, lovely, and comfortable. The only negative, and this is minor, were the quality of the pillows, on our June stay( our May stay, pillows were fine then).. If we had asked, I am sure, they would have obliged us with different pillows, we were too settled to bother. We inadvertantly left something behind, and called when we realized it, and they found the item, and put it safely away, until we could retrieve it on our return trip. It is clear that this hotel is about excellant service.

The housekeeping, bell & front desk staff were great. The restaurant staff were very stuffy and unhelpful. Nice Charles River view from room. Canoe & Kayak available. Hotel & room was of good Marriott standards but bathroom is smaller than normal and water pressure is low. Exterior and internal walls were renovated cheaply and obvious, but it didn't distract from comfort of the room.

The Marriott Boston Newton was the best hotel experience I have had yet while traveling on Business. The hotel was immaculate, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the beds are the so comfortable you miss them when you return home. Nice work area with desk provided as well as a chair and ottoman for lounging. Ironing board, hair dryer, ample closet and drawer space as well as complimentary toiletries.

Beds were very comfortable. Staff was too busy with the business men to get me a shuttle. Shuttle driver said they had just called and that was 1/2 hour later. The hotel was nice and clean. The front desk staff was unfriendly. I recommend that you try to get an odd numbered room.

one issue was that we went out at 9 am and the maid was in the hall; it was a terrilble day. The rain forced us to return to our room at 2:30 and it was still not made-up. We went downstairs while the maid worked on it (she was just going in as we returned) and we had to sit around in wet clothes for half an hour. It seems that the rooms could of, should of been finished earlier

The room was well appointed, the bed was very comfortable. I felt safe and well taken care of. The faucet in the shower was dripping. I had to pay $12/day for internet which is free most places. I would stay at this hotel any time. I slept well and was comfortable the entire time. The staff was friendly.
