Excellent location, close to a huge variety of food and shopping. Subway station underground with access directly to one station beneath the hotel.

Staff was very friendly, but should of warned about construction and rowdy neighbors.

The neighborhood of this hotel is currently experiencing a large amount of new construction. I endured several hours of air hammering late into the night due to work in the condo high rise that connects to this Marriott. After four calls to the front desk, the management sent a security guard to resolve it. One would think that Marriott management would have negotiated reasonable construction hours to avoid disrupting the sleep of their guests. After my fourth complaint to the front desk they offered me a wake up call, to which I had to laugh and reply that my chances of getting ANY sleep were slim to none. They need more training. I would avoid this hotel.

Had to change rooms TWO times in three days. Once because there was hair all over the bathroom and the shower was clogged, and once because the thermostat was broken in our room. After all the inconvenience, all we got was a free breakfast voucher, and even that was awful, because I found a hair on my sausage!! I will say that the bed itself was very comfortable, but the hotel service and the hotel itself definitely left a lot to be desired. NOT a 4-star, and I will not be staying here again.

The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Access to the subway and shopping was very convenient. My only disappointment was the room was very warm. Even though we had a thermostat in the room, changing the temperature did nothing. I believe it is at a set degree and controlled by the hotel. We only ate breakfast one day and opted for the buffet. Unfortunately all the food was cold and very pricey. They did serve good coffee!

The room was extremely spacious and comfortable. You could hear lots of noise (like a person coughing in the next room). This hotel was great for the price paid. It was very clean and rooms large. A typical Marriott property with high standards.

The hotel is nicely located near the major shops (Holt Renfrew and Harry Rosen), the Royal Ontario Museum, and the big Manulife Center with movie theatres and shops - and it is linked through the underground pathways, so that you can avoid walking outside in the freezing cold! The hotel room was big and spacious, and the bathroom was pretty nice too. Food tip - skip the expensive breakfast and walk to Over Easy restaurant on West Bloor Street for some good brunch in a homey cafe setting.

The Marriott Bloor Yorkville was great. It's in a super location, near Yorkville, shopping, and subway. But the beds are probably the best feature of this hotel. In the morning you'll be torn between, starting your day in beautiful Toronto, or staying in these ultra-comfy beds a little longer. The lobby and resturant aren't much to write home about, however the service at the hotel was excellent. The people working there really went out of their way to help you out. Overall, I would suggest it to anyone traveling ot Toronto.

Good sized room with great beds. A four star hotel should have a good pool facility, this one did not!

Close to downtown. Apples at reception were not fresh. Clean, classy & friendly staff.

Great location. Very friendly staff. Clean. No swimming pool. Super short stay hotel especially if you use public transportation to/from airport.

The location for the hotel is very good, by the subway, and in the upscale part of town. In the heart of downtown. The hotel doesn't have a swimming pool, small lobby area, not enough seating space in the lobby. The hotel is nice, and clean. It is in a very good location. It doesn't have a swimming pool, and the seating area in the lobby is very limited (they have free wireless internet in the lobby, you have to pay for inernet in room).

There was no pool for our students. We were told we were connected to the Eaton Center from the hotel staff and really it was a connected to the subway that had to be taken to the Eaton center. Also we were told we can swim at the Marriott at the Eaton center with our students and that was a half our away. This was very disappointing for our special needs students who were looking forward to swimming at the hotel. It just does not make sense to travel a half our to go swimming at another hotel. Also we had to pay for 3 taxi's to get to the Eaton center to go shopping and that was an extra cost we had not planned for as we were told we were connected to the Eaton center. There were 15 very disappointed special needs students.

Above subway, no need to take taxis and you can leave hotel ride subway and transfer directly to airport via 192 airport rocketbus for $2.75. Bed pillows are way to thick. Overall very pleased.

Location and nice room. No temperature control and no help with it, phones not working when needed, too long walk off elevator. Didn't sleep well because of heat and no help, not a Marriott experience.

Good location. Wish there was a swimming pool.

The size of the room and the updated bathroom. No convenience shop. Very nice, modern, clean and private.

Room/bed very comfortable. Walls are not sound and you can hear people walking/talking in the halls.
