The concierge was very helpful.

Comfortable bedding and helpful with special requests. Broken toilet and pool hours were horrible. The hotel was not as great as I had hoped. The pool hours make it next to impossible to use. The staff, while friendly, appeared stressed and made mistakes. Free internet in the rooms, a fridge and basic pool hours can be found at any Super 8 and I was disappointed not to get such basics here.

Got there late on Saturday night, Thanksgiving weekend. Hotel was not crowded and was upgraded to a MAGNIFICANT suite. Those people working that weekend (checked out Monday morning) were the nicest I have met and certainly exhibited all that is great about Marriott. Only problem is that there was no Wifi in room (I hate being tethered to a desk)

I have stayed at this hotel four or five times, and it has been a consistently good experience. The rooms are well furnished, although not huge. The restaurant is quite good, and I usually don't like hotel restaurants. The service is excellent. The last time I was there I was wandering through the lobby with some letters in my hand, and the concierge came up to me to ask me if she could mail them for me - I didn't even have to ask anyone! The hotel shop has reasonably priced muffins, yogurts, fruit, or snacks if you don't want to spend time getting a full meal at the restaurant. The hotel is in a convenient location, as long as you have a car. It is right off the inner loop of the beltway, with reasonable access to Dulles airport and good access to downtown Bethesda, which has wonderful restaurants (with parking garages close by). However, if you need to go into Washington, you will need to take the hotel shuttle to the nearest Metro station.

We enjoyed the restaurant quality. The hotel is comfortable and clean. The pool wasn't open during the entire day which impacted our relaxation time during the day. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Great location for NIH or Bethesda Naval Hospital visit. Easy acces to restaurants & shops in Bethesda & Rockville. Just off 270.

This is a well-run hotel with a surprisingly good hotel restaurant. It is conveniently located near the Beltway and not far from a Metro station, although you must take the hotel shuttle to the metro station or enjoy a longish walk if it is a nice day. Downtown Bethesda, not too far, offers a wonderful variety of restaurants. The staff was particularly helpful and welcoming. The rooms were well cared for but not particularly large.

All staff was friendly and helpful. Very clean. Great beds. We only ate dinner there once and service was slow for which they apologized, but the food was excellent. Had to pay for parking and using internet. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Shuttles every half hour to the metro.

Location, cleaniness, and courtesy of staff. Need to expand resturant's menu and be sowhat more affordable.

The Bar was open during the week. The Hotel charged 12$ a day for parking. Hotel was old and had been remodeled recently, my plug in on the wall was not even fastened, and there was mold on the hallway wall. The staff was friendly, and that was about the only positive thing that I have to say about the Hotel.

The staff was the BEST! They made our anniversary their priority and one we'll never forget. Nothing. Convenient to D.C. metro. Free shuttle with timely pick-ups. Clean with great amenities, staff, restaurant. I can't say enough about this hotel. One of the best experiences we ever had.

Decent hotel. Location and room facility. There was no 32 inch TVs as the website says.

Very comfortable bed. Internet in room cost extra. Comfortable hotel but a bit inconvenient waiting for shuttle to NIH and Metro. If you miss it you have to wait a good 30 minutes. Otherwise you are stuck as there is nothing in the immediate vicinity.

The staff was friendly and helpful. This hotel was clean, staffed with friendly people and very accommodating. The NIH shuttle makes frequent stops which was important for me. The bathrooms were tight and the TV's need updating.

Good location if you have a car and are familiar with the DC Beltway. Accessibility to DC Metro. Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms, quality restaurant.
Date of Stay:

Nice size rooms. No wi-fi available in hotel rooms. Excellent hotel for the price. Larger than average rooms, clean, with a beautiful restaurant/bar area. Staff is helpful and polite. Parking is a bit limited.

Excellent staff and leisure type traveler. Room was small for the size of the hotel. The lobby, dining area, conference rooms were excellent.
