Very Nice Stay. however the beds are only full size. not queen doubles. In addition, this is a nice hotel, however age is starting to catch up with the building. The elevators are run down and the indoor area pool needs some upgrading. I expected a little more from a Marriott

Have stayed at this hotel before and have never been treated as I was on 10/12/07.I represent a non profit, tax exempt org. who has held conferences at this hotel.Had the usual form which has always been accepted .I was told it would not be because the hotel had been ""audited"". After speaking with the manager at 5:30 p.m., I was told I would have to pay cash .A credit card or check was unaccetavble . For the first time career, I paid cash for a hotel room. Marriott, Albany neither I or my organization will return... unfriendly, officious manager. Pool filthy.!

Although I only stayed here one night, I would definitely come back. The room was quiet, the bed was very comfortable and the staff helpful. Nice exercise room as well.

Modern hotel with deluxe pool and fitness facility. First class staff very friendly, took the extra step by sending my wife a birthday card. Clean room. Great value. Will definately return next year!!!

Was modern and had been nicely renovated since last time i visited nearly 2 years ago. Nothing i did not like.

Nothing. The condition of the beds and bed linens and mattresses and the non-cleanliness of the bathtubs. When we arrived the desk personnel was very friendly. We went to the first room. I always check the beds and the sheets and mattress covers for the condition of the beds. The sheets looked wrinkled, like they had not been changed, the mattress pad was covered with stains and I found some sort of bugs on the mattress. After I found that I didn't look any further and asked for a room change. The 2nd room the beds were a little better no bugs but I wasn't sure the sheets were clean. There was a lot of debris on the mattress cover. The shower curtain still had moisture on it from the previous guests and there were some long black hairs in the tub when I got in to get my shower. My hair is short and brown. My husband shaves his head. Overall it was a very poor experience.

Bedding was of top quality and comfortable. Very noisy doors when closing. Convenient and in an safe location. Great beds and pools. Restaurant breakfast was very expensive and not great quality.

The quality of the bedding was great. A little noisy due to a women's convention. I consistently like Marriotts. This wasn't the nicest Marriott I have ever seen but we were staying in Albany, NY so it was upscale for that area.

Follow-through of staff for requests. Asked for blanket/pillow when checked in at 4, got back to room at 10pm - not there - could not get me a spare pillow, toilet needed a repair at 10:30 pm.

Very comfortable bed with lots of pillows! Small room, felt a bit crowded. I slept very soundly here, in that it was a very comfortable bed with lots of pillows! (We never seem to have enough, but this was perfect!). Comfortable room; I'd stay here again.

Comfortable bed. Nice TV. Hallways need new carpet. The Albany Marriott is by far the best hotel in the Albany area although, considering the city is the State capital, one would expect better options, e.g., Hyatt. While it has been around for a while, the exterior red brick design is still very appealing. Room service is surprisingly good. The bathrooms are disappointing as are the quality of the amenities provided.

Good breakfast buffet. Could use more parking for families with children. We traveled to Albany with our 21 month old son to see Sesame Street Live at the Palace. This hotel is clean, comfortable, and nicely appropriated. They have a great breakfast buffet, an indoor pool and a well equipped workout room. I'd highly recommend this hotel to families with children. Also a nice spot for couples and business travelers.

Conveniently located. Their movie rental policy. This hotel is great for airport travelers, as well as those visiting the capital district. One thing that I didn't like was the in-room movie rental policy. We accidentally changed the channel, which ended the movie. There was a prompt on the TV which said, Return to movie. We thought it would pick-up where we left off, but we were promptly charged for another movie. Basically $25.98 for a movie we were 15 minutes short of finishing. Ugh!

Beds were excellent. Can think of nothing. All staff personnel were friendly, helpful and excellent. Rooms were very comfortable and the beds were above average. No complaints. Highly recommended.
