This is a great location close to everything that you will want to visit while in Nashville. You can drive or easily find a taxi to downtown Nashville and it's a quick trip to the Opry Mills Mall. With both an inside and outside pool, swimming is possible in any weather condition. Purchasing the breakfast buffet when booking your room is highly recommended.

This is the first time we stayed in this hotel and it will not be our last. I am not sure how long ago they remodeled but they did a great job. The rooms were nice and the beds and bedding were very comfortable. Great in room coffee, great housekeeping, nice indoor pool, and probaly one of the best hotel gyms I have seen in a while. They had a package that added $15 to the price of the room that allowed us a free breakfast for 2 and kids under 10 eat for free. The breakfast buffet was incredible. It had top notch fruit, pastries, omlets, and all of the standard breakfast foods. The entire staff was very nice. We will be back! Good job Marriot. The only complaint I did have was that you had to pay $15 dollars per day for WiFi internet access which I felt was a bit excessive especially when you see this for free almost everywhere you go

My husband and I went to see the Titans & Chargers play on Sunday. We arrived early Saturday morning after taking a red eye flight. Check in was not suposed to be until 2 pm but when we called at 9am the staff told us to come on in and they would check us in early. Seeing that we were tired and hungry we were given a free breakfast (which you must visit the buffet). Warm cookies and soda were delivered to our room in the afternoon, a car was waiting for us to take us to the game on Sunday morning. We did not ask for anything, they just provided the best friendliest service I think we have had in a long time. We stayed in Hawaii over the summer at the former Ritz Carlton and I would have to say the service we received from the staff at the Marriot would have to compare to what I paid 500.00 a night for in Hawaii. Southern Hospiality at its BEST.. Cozy beds too. Thank you xxx for all the personal attention.

Only issue was a computer glich that they have when reservations are made via a travel service like Orbitz. Don't know all the technicalities, but it had something to do with the way the reservation codes are converted to the property. Even though I had a little wait to be able to check in, the front desk people were very professional, friendly and apologetic.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I waited long for elevators, did not like to be charged for internet, plane noise . It was very comfortable and the staff was great. I ate in the restaurant and in the bar and that was good food. Overall as a business traveler I would recommend staying at this hotel.

I had the unfortunate experience of staying at the Marriot Nashville or should I say the new Gestapo Hotel! To the point, No smoking allowed in Marriot Nashville hotel rooms! Great! You are so PC everyone that does not comply you rob them for $* and of course you rule because we no longer have any rights in your hotel. I do not smoke but had to discuss business in my room with clients who did smoke. I did not allow them to smoke in my room but they did take a glass of water into the stairway smoke and come back to the room. The glass of butts was dumped into the toilet. Your Gestapo staff of course attacked the room with the Dictator given rights similar to a Faciast or communist country, they took pictures of the butts in the toilet, as well as my room and proudly robbed me of $*. When I made it known that I did not agree. There bravado was even stronger because Marriot's big brother attitude does not allow them to think! I compliment MARRIOT on their PC stance and will make every attempt on every venue to get Marriot's message to all with my comments of course. Marriott cannot do anything but be avoided at all costs and I will make sure as many people avoid them!

I love the hotel and the customer service. Very friendly and helpful. I love that they have breakfast buffet especially when traveling with kids. Great that they have a starbucks. The location is great, very close to the mall and the other attractions. I recommend this hotel to anyone.

The people were wonderful. The room was also great. I'm in a wheelchair, so the beds were a little to high for my liking, but very comfortable. I went down to sing at the CMA Awards. The staff was was absolutely wonderful. The only issues that I had, were the bed and toilet being set up for someone that is 6 foot or above, and the hydraulics on the door being to stiff. Being in a wheelchair, it was a little difficult. But, overall, a wonderful place. I would definitely stay there, and recommend it to anyone.

Beautifully landscaped, luxurious, comfy bed, great central location. We all loved everything - nothing bad to say. Beautifully situated on a hilltop and conveniently located to downtown and Opryland. From the moment we drove-up with the beautiful landscaping, superb staff and well-appointed room - we were so very happy. Anytime we go back to Nashville, this hotel will be our first choice!

I was very surprised that the Nashville Airport Marriott, Nashville, Tennessee did not have free high speed Intenet access. This was very disappointing, because most chain hotels do offer this service. In addition, I was also charged for dial up Internet service, via an 800 phone number. In the future, I will only stay at a hotel that has free high speed Internet service.

There didn't seem to be an exhaust fan in the bathroom, showers steamed mirror. I was very pleased with my room, food and especially the personnel. I plan on staying there again.
