Marriott late dealThe stay was fantastic value for money, we had access to the executive lounge which was ideal with complimentory breakfast. ideal location for the airport with the best leisure facilities

Staff very accomodating and helpful. Bed was excellent, Bath clean. No ice or vending machines. The front desk staff was very accomodating and helpful. They got us checked in mid-morning after an 11 hour journey and arranged a taxi to take us to and from our son's wedding the next day. The bed was excellent, the cleaning staff always had our room ready before our return, and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The only negatives would be too few electrical outlets.

The staff are so helpful and friendly. The hotel is well maintained. Adjoining rooms are available (great with kids). Only negative is that the pool is NOT open to kids after 6:30pm.

Marriott Hotel Manchester AirportFrom when we entered we were greeted with a smiling helpful receptionist who went through the hotel facilities and great leisure complex. All the staff were helpful and the room was fantastic value for money. The bars were well staffed and extremely courteous, a relaxing environment and well furnished. The swimming pool was a real surprise and after a long drive and tedious meetings it was good to unwind in the warm pool, I could even purchase a swimming trunks in the centre! A real find and will be looking forward to future visits, well done the Marriott!

Rip off Marriott Decided to book my family in to the executive suite as for an extra £20 on the normal price the advertisment said that you had access to soft drinks, tea coffee, cakes and fruit etc via entry to the executive lounge.Firstly we booked a 2 double bed room only to find it only had one double bed. I was told that luckily there was a spare family room. Luck had nothing to do with it and I would hate to think would would have happended if one was not free (we travelled over 250 miles)On arrival we were also asked for an additional £50 on top of the £79 cost "just in case we bought drinks and meals etc" At this point I was fuming and said when you visit a super market and buy a £2 sandwich do you get charged £52 just in case you pick anything off the shelves on the way out?I was then told that the £50 would be debited back to my account within 3-5 working days. Lucky for me then that I had enough to cover this and cover the petrol cost to get back home.The Executive suite was void of any drinks hot or cold apart from a jar of peanuts and three bottles of Hilton water.I complained about this as well but nothing was resolved and we left as soon as we could in the morning, after paying another £7 to get out the car park, even the duty manager said the charge was "excessive"

MarriottI recently stayed for one night with my mother at this hotel before I departed for a two week transatlantic cruise and found the service and staff of this hotel 1st class, the room we stayed in for quality and value was amazing, would most definitely return here again.

Car Parking DisgraceThis was the families second stay at a very delightful and friendly hotel. It met all of our expectations, with fantastic food, friendly staff, fantastic leisure amenities. The only complaint we would raise is the fact that paying guests to the hotel have to pay an additional fee to park their car. This is a disgrace. I can understand that they have a policy which allows those using the hotel as a place to stay prior to jetting out to other countries, to use the car parking facilities, but staying in the hotel for a weekend for leisure and using the facilties including the restaraunt, should mean that car parking should surely be free. I have now decided not to stay in the hotel but move to another Marriot when we travel down to enjoy further weekend breaks in protest over the charges.
