I had a short overnight stay in Los Angeles between flights. This hotel was convenient to LAX and the price was excellent for an excellent room. It was a pleasure to stay at such a nice hotel even for such a short visit.

I have stayed in many other hotels before but this hotel is amazing!!! I love the pool area, has a pool and a spa. There is also a japanese type waterfall and a bridge. The rooms with pool view are awesome. The breakfast buffet is the BEST!!! Totally recommend to everyone. The staff is very friendly and the service is fast as well the room service. The parking is small if you are self parking, you will have a hard time finding parking suggest better the valet is only 5 dollars difference. Is very luxury and nice in any way. Will definitely try to stay at this hotel

I stayed for two nights at this hotel during a weekend and wanted a place that is close to the airport. The room was very clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable, I slept like a baby. Check in/out was a breeze and the staff members were friendly. I wish the hotel offered free wireless Internet service throughout the hotel or at least a free service in the lobby.I am definitely planning to stay there in my next trip to LA.

We stayed here as a stopover before our long flight home to Australia so I was looking for somewhere close to LAX that would be comfortable for a good night's rest for the Family.Check-In was easy though they couldn't accomodate my initial room request & gave us one that overlooked the pool which turned out to be a good position anyways.The pool was closed for a private function so we couldn't use it.The rooms were small Yes but we managed to get our 8 suitcases & 2 kid's in there & coped just fine.Bathrooms definately too small.Bed's were FANTASTIC! & the Breakfast Buffet was GREAT! All in All would stay here again in a heartbeat.

My husband had stayed at this hotel during a convention and loved it, so we chose it to stay before embarking on a cruise leaving from Long Beach. I was equally impressed.

Easy to find. Definitely not worth the 3 1/2 star rating. Had to listen to planes leaving and arriving all night. Beds were comfortable, but the room was very small. Bathroom was extremely small and something I'd expect at a Motel 6. Restaurant was nothing special and incredibly expensive. When came time to leave, in room checkout was not working, and when calling valet to have car waiting, no one answered the phone after repeated calls by us or the front desk.

The pool needs to be rehabed BADLY, spa is really awful. Moldy, and cracked.Not very hot.The hotel is not secured in that anyone can come off the streets to the pool, and they did. I was there on Labor Day, and there was actually a family who came in at 5 a.m. and set up camp for each day. They were not staying at the hotel. Many others from downtown L.A. in the hallways and especially at the pool. Not to safe if you get my drift.The rooms are nice, so is the bed. Food is good too. So if you are only sleeping there and you are with a buddy for security then it might be ok.

The Los Angeles airport Mariott was very nice and comfortable. Easy access to LAX and to downtown. Staff was very helpful and made me feel welcome. The rooms were spacious and clean. Overall i would stay at this hotel again.

I had an AMAZING time here with my two other friends. We did this trip as a getaway and because we always wanted to visit California. I was a little scared at some of the reviews but we were shocked at how great the hotel really was. The hotel was beautiful! The beds were the most comfortable beds I have ever been on and I do alot of traveling. The rooms were pretty and the room was always clean and neat. The pool, fitness center, and jacuzzi was amazing. We spent most of our time in the pool and mostly in the jacuzzi. There was water and iced tea all day at the hotel free of charge and it was cool and refreshing. The staff was amazing and were very helpful when we needed directions. Yes there's not that much around the hotel but it's very convenient to the metro lines. You take the bus outside the hotel to the metro system. FYI: Get a All-Day Pass for 5 it's worth it. Make sure not to miss Hollywood, Manhattan Beach, and Santa Monica Beach(there's a bus that takes you there for .75 instead of the metro lines). When we checked out they charged us 15 for something I did not use, I told them and they took it right off my bill no questions asked. Make sure when you book a room to get a room that has a view of the pool, we didn't know and regretted it when we didn't have a view but it was still amazing. I would definitly come back to this hotel again. The staff, service, amenities, concenience was amazing. We made ALOT of friends at this hotel. Very friendly people. Thanks for an amazing time Marriott!

With a large courtyard pool, thoughtful facilities e.g. self-laundry on floor, and balcony or ground floor rooms overlooking the pool, this hotel is great for a short stopover. It is close to the beaches too.

Very nice hotel, first trip to LA and everybody was kind and knowledgeable. Parking was high, 17 dollars a day plus tax. And a cheese burger from room service was 15. We dont regret staying there and would return.
