Date of Stay: June, 2009

This was one of the most memorable stays at a hotel that I have had in years of travelling. The Floor manager, Lisa, assisted me in getting some flowers that I intended for my niece, who was graduating. (the purpose for the visit) The attendant at the counter desk, [...], was most helpful in assisting me. The hotel itself is beautiful, with an eyecatching fountain and greenery that enhances the entrance atmosphere. If I have an occasion to return to Columbus, I would be certain to make arrangements to visit Columbus Marriott again.

To start with there are two different Marriots right next to each other. Naturally you will go to the wrong one the first time. I have stayed at this hotel before. They try to be ritzy to the point of forgetting why they are there. There are several overhead ceiling tiles on the first floor that were wet. I wouldn't bring it up but since it was the first floor, wet tiles could speak of a much deeper problem. The room was very nice except that it was pretty cramped. The dining room is why I actually wrote this review was one of the most horrible places I ever had the displeasure of using. I had pretty much the same experience as the last time I was there. When we got there I had to find the staff. There was no one on the floor. I looked everywhere including the little alcove behind the bar. Finally I found two women in what I guess was the kitchen. One woman seated us and another took the order. We got our drinks and ordered. There was no sight of anyone for over half an hour. With the prices this place charges you would think it possible to get a refill occasionally or at least see another human. Finally after about 45 minutes the food arrives. The food was very good and we got our one refill of the night. After finishing our food in less time than it took to order it we wanted to leave. Unfortunately we needed to wait till we saw someone so we could pay the bill.

We were in town for Rock on the Range at Crew Stadium and the location couldn't have been better, only a few minutes from the stadium. Very good food at a decent price.

Very nice hotel. Very close to the airport but no air traffic noise. Room was pleasant and clean. Most comfortable hotel bed with goose down comforter and pillows I have ever experienced. Good on site restaurant although a little pricey. Fast food places within walking distance. Wonderful indoor heated pool. This hotel had everything I was looking for and quality exceeded my expectations. Overall very nice experience and I would definitely recommend staying here.

The king bed was very comfortable. The room was nice and the king bed was comfy but the pull out couch did not have linens I called 2 hours before we checked in to tell them there would be 4 adults the pull out couch had blood stains and they only gave us 3 towels I called the front desk and they brought the linens and towels.

Location to the airport was great. Nothing wrong. This was a typical Marriott property and up to their standards. Seemed to have quite a few rooms in multiple buildings with meeting facilities.

Convenient, clean, use of quality furnishings & building materials. Bed too soft and unsupportive. This hotel won't win any design awards, but it is clean, conveniently located, and was not built cheaply. Aside from the soft, unsupportive mattresses, this is a nice hotel to stay in.

Comfortable beds and nice shower/bathroom. Very noisy ice machine against bedroom wall and shuttle that goes no where we needed. Typical Marriott with noisy, poorly located ice machines.

Location. Service. After we checked in, a supervisor knocked on our door asking if our room had been cleaned yet. We had opened and used toiletries left in our bathroom, room didn't get cleaned until after 4:30 pm and we had been out of the room all day.
