the marriott upon arrival the staff were very helpful with parking, checking in, recommending different restaurants in the area. the room was o.k. very clean. upon checking out the staff was very informative for giving us directions as to what routes to take upon leaving for our next destination.

Room, staff and location and view from dining room. The twenty extra dollars required for overnight parking, other parking was unavailable.

Great location with easy access to waterfront points of interest. Parking is extra. Would recommend booking option with breakfast included; otherwise it is a bit pricey.

Best feature was the location. Shower was very small.

A basic free continental breakfast in that we've found in most hotels was missing; no ice bucket nor a small refridgerator to keep a couple drinks cold. These are amenities we've become accustomed as we travel. They boasted of the free web browser in the room (WebTV), but anything beyond basic news and weather was an extra fee. There was ample closet space, but only 3 small drawers in the entertainment center for our clothes. We were not thrilled with a $* a day fee to park our car in their parking garage. All in all this hotel sparkled visually, but just didn't offer the comforts that we like to have when we travel. (The staff was really nice, though.)

Friendly staff, pub and entertainment. Central location. Cost of parking. Small coffee pot in rooms. No bar fridge. Great staff. The room we stayed in had a king size bed, very comfortable. The lobby could use a make over as it is very plain and seating is limited. Wireless internet should be free for guests.

Great location on the Harbor waterfront. Very friendly, courteous staff. Standard rooms just OK - no fridge or microwave. Already over-priced hotel charges $* Extra per day for high speed internet. Hotel Restaurants over priced with somewhat limited menus and mediocre food. Connecting covered walkway to the Nova Scotia Casino seems to be the really major "draw"! There is no comparison to the Raddison Suites on Hollis Street just a few blocks away at essentially the same price - or, somewhat less.

Beds were excellent, pub had great atmosphere. No in room coffee maker.

We have just returned from Nova Scotia and thoroughly enjoyed the Marriot. The beds were wonderful and loved the location. We visited the wharf and ate at Saltys 2 times. We were able to sit right on the waterfront and the food was great. We ate breakfast at the Bluenose and it was good and inexpensive. My only complaint. No freebees here! I felt 19.00 to park was expensive and 15.00 to use the internet in the room ridiculous. However the lady at the front desk let me use their internet.. We stayed three nights.

Great pillows. The sheets on the bed were put on inside out.

Modern, close to downtown and entertainment, nicely decorated rooms, high-end restaurant. Nothing of note. Excellent location, attached to casino and nightlife entertainment. Short walk from downtown Halifax. Modern hotel with large rooms and luxury amenities. Good for the business traveler.
