Great location on the beach, with beautiful view. Nice rooms with comfortable beds. Mini bars not as necessary as fridge would be.

It is right on Hollywood Beach. That was important for me. Didn't have the room I ordered. Good location on Hollywood Beach. Friendly staff who try to accommodate guests requests. We only had breakfast there, so can't comment on dinner at the restaurant.

My wife, 2.5 year old daughter, and I enjoyed our stay here. The hotel itself is quite nice and well maintained, although the pool area is rather small and was crowded at times (hard to find an empty lounge chair). You are separated from the beach only by a very nice paved walkway which runs along the entire beach. And the beach is beautiful, of course. The town of Hollywood, FL is much quieter and less developed than Miami and Fort Lauderdale, so if you're looking for a glitzy experience with nightlife, this is probably not your best option. If you're looking for a quiet weekend getaway with the family on the beach, this is a good choice.

I wanted a few days to relax at the beach. Every room has a balcony with a view of the beach. Only a wonderful paved walking and biking path separates the hotel from the beach. The staff were all friendly, helpful, and seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs. The parking is free and very secure. I definitely plan to go back to this hotel. Thank you Travel agency for helping me find this hotel!

Located right on a great beach. Not a lot of other interesting nightlife nearby. The staff was extremely friendly and solicitous, and always at hand when needed (with a slight exception for the more limited hours of the concierge). We tried the hotel's breakfast buffet and lunch beside the beach, and were delighted that the food was as good as the view. A great spot for a relaxing get away.

My husband surprised me with a trip to this fabulous hotel for my 50th birthday- our arrival was met by a fantastic front desk clerk (remembered our names each time we walked past) - we were upgraded to an oceanfront suite with two balconies - room was beautiful and very tastefully decorated - bed was super comfortable - bathroom was completely remodeled and fantastic (loved the glass doors - very unique) - balcony views were great (one overlooking boardwalk/ocean and the other overlooked the pool area - complete with live music) - we strolled the boardwalk looking for a nice place to get an ice cold beverage on a hot day, but found that we shouldn't have gone too far - the bar at the hotel was everything we needed - in fact, for the next 4 days and 3 nights we only left the hotel for long walks on the beach - our room rate included breakfast each morning in the hotel restaurant - staff was extremely friendly and happy to see us each morning - poolside at the hotel was a treat, there was plenty of seating and an attendant to bring you fresh towels and check on your comfort during the day - also, I recommend getting a chair near the boardwalk for the misting machines that spray you while you sunbathe (very decadent!!) - dinners were spent each evening in hotel dining room, outside boardwalk tables or bar (Monday night football!!!!) - we were never disappointed - we even changed our plans while there (with the help of the front desk staff) and stayed an extra night, all with no problem and always a smile - The Hollywood Beach Marriott is now one of my favorite all time hotels and I can't wait to return someday.

The hotel was very clean and attractive and the staff was excellent. I have no complaints with this hotel. This is the only place to stay if visiting Hollywood, FL. The hotel and staff are top-notch. I was disappointed with the Hollywood area, but the hotel made up for all that the area lacked. We had an excellent stay!

Beautiful room decor, bedding is fantastic, view was terrific, pool was nice, staff were very pleasant, great value ...tvly rate came with full breakfast, kids loved the location, wish there were more shops on boardwalk and not so much construction but this was not noticeable from our room.

One small issue, spa was somewhat dirty. Possibly looking into an indoor pool. Clean spa more often. Overall the hotel was nice, clean and the staff was pleasant. Breakfast was excellent. I was not happy with the pool or spa area.

everyone from the bellstaff to front office to staff at tiki bar and pool were all fantastic. the beach is beautiful and clean and the boardwalk was great with nice shops. the beds in the guest rooms are the most comfortable and the hotel is very clean.

Easy to check out. Over priced for such bad service. Could not get any help from staff. No concierge present. No one in the gift shop to help. Always out of something never in stock just a typical overpriced dive hotel that’s happy to check you in then doesn’t bother about you. Just a bad experience

"It was a beautiful hotel. Very friendly staff. It was planned that just two of us would be staying, but friends of ours that were staying in the area after a conference had picked not as nice a hotel. We appeared and asked if they could accomodate them. They were great! Our friends had a great time as well as we did. The beach was great lots of seashells."

"First let me say the service and staff in this Marriott is fantastic. Friendly, prompt and attentive. The all marble bathrooms *almost* make up for the smaller then normal (for Marriott) rooms. But in all fairness this hotel use to be a HoJo's. With that in mind and what they have done with the hotel, I can't complin at all. The pool is also small, so there is no way to get away from the kids that families bring. The beach however is combed daily and extremely clean. I give a 4 star rating (vs. a 5) only because of the size of the rooms."
