We just got back from spending 5 days over Valentine's Day. We were very impressed at the resort. The attentiveness of the staff is amazing, calling you by your last names to always being on top of your every little request. If you needed anything from an ironing board to room service, it took but just minutes and they were at your door. We had a room on the 2nd floor. We could see the whales everyday from our balcony. The rooms are very comfortable, but a bit small. I also felt that there was not enough shelves or space for your own personal toiletries in the bathroom. Also disappointed that there is no jacuzzi to use unless you pay $15 to use the spa faciity. The gym was great and everything in working order with fresh towels and cold soaked face clothes that smelled like lemongrass aromatherapy oil. The times that we ate in "Vista Bellenas" was very good, however for Valentines' dinner we ate at" las Ventanas". A very expensive fine dining restaurant on the corridor. I was not impressed at all with the service for the prices they charge. We had reservations that were made by the Marquis staff. When we arrived they sat us down at the bar and made us wait for 30 minutes as others that walked in behind us were seated, until we asked about our table being ready, then they proceeded to seat us. We may have sat there all night if we hadn't spoken up! Food is great if you don't care about the service. All in all we would definitely stay again.

We just returned from 5 days at the Marquis. We chose this hotel because it was listed as a quiet, upscale resort. Which it definately is. The rooms are gorgeous. The beds are perfect- never have I slept so well in a hotel. Only downfalls- upon check in, we were given a room that didnt match our printed, confirmed reservations. After making demands to speak with manager and some uncomfortable conversation upon arrival, were were given the correct room. Everything after that was basically wonderful. Except the 11.00 bottled water and 4.50 diet cokes. Food prices good for what you get. Best food was at the pool. But the beverages were outrageous! 15.00 for a margarita...small!! Go into town for 50.00 roundrip and stock up on 1.00 water and 8 pack of beer for 3.00. Pool chairs go fast. No hot tub at pool. Have to pay 15.00 at spa or have spa app to use hot tubt. Ocean view is fantastic from anywhere at hotel- no need to pay upgrade. Maid service was really fantastic. Twice daily service..lots of nice touches.. the toiletries are fabulous!!!At checkout they insisted we had 25.00 in extra mini bar charges (they counted the stuff we brought from town). After long conversation, they agreed not to charge. So other than an uncomfortable check in and check out, the time at Marquis was very nice!If you go, spend 10.00 cab ride and have dinner at Agua at Palmilla- prices same as Marquis and the grounds and ambiance is uterly amazing. It rates at the very top of all time favorite places.....

My husband and I chose to stay in Private Suite...which was worth it! This included a small private pool, living room, kitchenette, two sinks, king bed, huge walk-in shower, and a spa-like tub. The resort itself was pretty quiet, however, waking up every morning and being able to enjoy our private pool was amazing! This hotel has a beautiful view of the Pacific, but because of the dangerous tides, you are not allowed to go into the ocean. This really wasn't an issue, due to the superb amenities the hotel offered. We did have to use our Do Not disturb sign a lot due to the attentiveness of the staff...cleaning rooms, and turn down service. We were there just to be alone and relax. I really enjoyed their bloody marys, mojitos, and margaritas. I didn't like the taste of the "coca-cola,", it had a "weird" after taste. I wasn't impressed with the food, although the nachos were okay. Also, if it is your first time in Mexico..be sure to exchange some currency into pesos. Although we could charge items to our room, it made it difficult to tip the bartender separately. All in all, this was an amazing getaway for me and my husband. Lastly, if is your first time to Mexico, carry a pen. We flew on United and had to fill out paperwork before we landed. The flight attendants announced that we were not allowed to ask them for pens. When I told the attendant that I didn't have a pen, she said,"did you not hear the announcement?" "you come to a foreign country and don't carry a pen?" Also, when you walk through the airport..do not get suckered in by the men in polo shirts. they are trying to sign you up for a timeshare! Have fun

The Marquis on the Corridor in Los Cabos is honestly the nicest hotel I'v ever stayed in - we are so glad we chose it for our honeymoon. The staff was incredible - even during Hurricane Henrietta. The care, safety and comfort of their guests was the number one priority the entire stay. If there was anything we needed, all we had to do was ask - and sometimes, we didn't even have to ask. The pools were beautiful. The room (a junior suite) was impeccable. The only drawbacks were that we could not actually swim in the ocean directly in front of the hotel because the surf was too rough, and that breakfast is the best meal - if you want to order dinner from room service, it is fair to good, but breakfast was the best (the French Toast is to die for if you like cinnamon). The setting is gorgeous. We managed to see a lot of wildife activity going on in the sea from our 4th floor room. And during the hurricane, all guests we traipsing in and out of the kitchen since we had all been centrally located to a safe area, and it was perhaps one of the cleanest commercial kitchens I've seen - and I have seen a lot growing up in the food industry. We loved the Marqui and would definitely stay there again without hesitation.

Stayed 5 nights for our 20th anniv. they upgraded us to a suite with its own pool. it was incredable. the staff was very nice, the food was perfect and the facility was beyond my expectaions. every morning around 7 am we went into one of the main pools, the water was perfect. we could rest against the outer wall of the pool and be just a few feet form the breakers. There was two maids every day that cleaned the place from top to bottom. This place rivals some of the nicer resorts in Hawaii. My wife says this is her second favorite resort next to the Ihilani on Oahu. the only negative thing I could say is that i would think that in the busy season they run out of loungers by the pools. Also the private pools attached to the suites don't have any circulating systems or they were not working they seemed to acumulate a lot of bugs. We will return to this resort every chance we get.

The service was fantastic. My son loved the breakfast of fruits and breads every morning. The only thing that the taxi service to cabos was a little steep but expected. All in all the trip was so worth it. I would stay here again and again. The food was great and the pool was fabulous and the view was to die for.

This was one of our most memorable vacations! The hotel is absolutely fabulous with 2 infinity pools and excellent spa amenities. The view looking through the open-air lobby toward the sea is breathtaking. Breakfast in your cubby each morning and a bedtime sweet are just the little extra touches that make this hotel so unique.

My husband and I just got back from Cabo. The Marquis was fabulous. First class all the way. The staff was wonderful. The hotel was very clean and beautiful. I lost a bag on the way to the hotel from the airport. They contacted the travel company and had it delivered to my room (when I thought it was long gone!). The spa was fantastic...total relaxation. Please rent a car! That's my advice!

This hotel is BEAUTIFUL! But that's it. It is 9 miles from town and taxi's are costly. Food & drinks were very expensive and the pool closed before it got dark. And the beach is OFF LIMITS due to rip-tides. One should plan on spending a lot of money while staying here. But it is a BEAUTIFUL hotel.

"I will make this short and sweet. If you have any doubts about staying at the marquis; STOP. This is a beautiful hotel all around and I dont think the staff could have been more polite or curteous. It seemed like it was their honor to wait on you hand and foot. The marquis was truley a wonderful experience so if you are reading this and are considering look no further, paradise awaits you."

"This hotel was great! We're usually picky about the hotel we stay at..... but the rooms were spacious , nice, clean the staff comes by twice a day to clean and fix your room. It's a great place for a honeymoon or couples it's not really for singles not much activity going on, you have to go to the city for clubs which is 25min away and will be pricey for the cab ride ( just say you only have $15 they will go for it ). Overall our 5 night stay was nice, the food was great. OH yea the mojitos were the best at the outside bar!!!!! "

"Overall the resort is very nice, rooms are very well appointed and guest service is very good. The food was excellent. The location was not ideal. It is a $25 cab ride each way to Cabo. The resort is very quiet with very little activity at the pool or at night."
