The most important towns near the hotel are Piedras Blancas (the capital of the district) and Salinas. The latter has one of the longest beaches in Asturias (3 km long) as well as a splendid promenade. The hotel is in Naveces, a small rural town in Castrillon municipal district in Asturias province. The district borders Aviles, only 5 km away, in the west. Castrillon is an important tourist area, due to its many magnificent beaches. Some beaches close to the hotel include: Santa Maria del Mar, the impressive Playon de Bayas and Playa de Bahina. They are all linked by a footpath of great beauty, a genuine delight for hikers. As you get further away from the coast and enter the more rural interior, you will find two particularly interesting places: The Aberdales Cave with its remarkable stalactite and stalagmite formations, and the Pulide Viewpoint, from which you can admire a scenic view of the whole district.
