The Marmaris Beach hotel is a budget hotel right on the promenade. The location is perfect.If you are getting a taxi to it, its behind the taxi rank opposite McDonalds. Rooms were basic but clean. The breakfast was Turkish and did the job although you can upgrade to a "full English" for about 4 Lira My only complaint was the beach area - it was meant to be maintained by the staff at Natalies steak house below the hotel - well it wasn't and as a result the sand was full of cigarette butts etc. We ended up using the beach area next door belonging to SANTANA BAR, which was kept spotless and as a result they got our daytime business, drinks , snacks etc. The staff at Natalies took the huff a bit, ( but not enough that they would make the effort to clean the beach !!) Overall I thought that the Marmaris Beach Hotel was excellent value for money. Early bedders may be irritated by the Karaoke that goes on in the SANTANA BAR next door till about 3AM
