Loved this hotel, staff was friendly and helpful with all requests. Great location to subway, shopping. Quiet and the rooms are lovely, nice amenities. Morning coffee was great, wine happy hour was perfect.

Friendly staff/missed happy hour but they gave us coupons anyway to redeem at the restaurant. I think there should be a exhaust fan in the bathroom. This is my 3rd time at this hotel. The staff is friendly & accommodating. Needed to adjust our room upon arrival and the hotel staff made the changes we needed. Would recommend and would stay there again. Like the hotel very much.

Great trip. Great Location. Right near a T station, so we never had to drive. A bit difficult to locate, but had great assistance from the Concierge who basically "talked us in." All the staff was excellent, but the two Concierges ([...] and [...]) were above and beyond in the helpful department. Would stay there again without question!

The Staff at our hotel was unbelievably helpful. They are exactly what good service should be. I would highly recommend this hotel because, without exception, the staff made my stay pleasant and trouble-free.

I loved this hotel - very different as far as decor, cocktail hour, great restaurant and staff. Fee for parking car. I truly enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Marlowe. The Hotels professional staff, and unique decor and amenities were quite a treat.

Met my mother, sister, niece and her two teen-aged daughters...we all flew in from Michigan, Florida and Maryland to visit my daughter who lives in Boston. We really loved the wine-hour from 5 to 6 in the "living room." We met often in the living room which was located directly inside the front door. All hotel personnel were very friendly!

Staff was terrific. Nice touch to serve wine from 5-6 daily and coffee in the a.m., although muffins and juice would have been nice--other hotels do this. Very nice to have juice, bananas and apples the morning of the marathon. Other hotels in other cities run a shuttle to the bus pick-up area which would have been a nice added touch. All in all, though, it was good to stay away from the buzz but still have easy access to the important locations when needed. I like the Kimpton group - have stayed at ones in Portland (OR) and San Fran.

Hotel was excellent with a very friendly and helpful staff. We did not interact with anyone who was not welcoming and gracious in our 4 night stay. The complimentary happy hour each evening was nice. The room was quite comfortable and had a roomy desk and chairs for anyone wishing to work or who needed a good conversation space. The furnishings were rather middle eastern or Indian which I did not find particularly appealing, but they provided a goldfish in the room (on request) which is a really odd, but obviously unique and fun touch! We also got to watch a snow storm in progress through the big floor to ceiling picture windows in the room. The hotel was a couple of blocks from the subway and had an underground direct connection with an adjacent shopping mall which was nice, given the weather. Overall, a really excellent place if the location just across the river from downtown Boston is a place you wish to operate from.

Very modern decor, great staff, beautiful rooms, clean and organized well.Very closedistance to Science museum. Cool place, we stayed after a Red Sox game, just a $6 cab ride. Cool lounge and bar. My buddy was with us and we were able to get a roll-away for him. Next day, got a great recommendation for brunch. We didn't have our dogs, but they are pet friendly, really. They have water dishes and biscuits all around.

I have stayed at the hotel marlow twice, and it is my home away from home. It is in a great location, easy to access public transportation, helpful friendly staff, comfortable rooms and I love the pet friendly thing.

WHoever did the design work on this hotel really knew what they were doing. It felt more like being in someone's very well appointed guest room than a hotel. While we didn't dine there, the dining room was always full at meal times. Our room had every amenity one needs and a list of things available at no charge and for charge if one had forgotten something. The staff was very helpful, with one exception. We arrived after 11pm, no one opened the door, the staff didn't to have our bags brought to our rooms until we asked for assistance. Perhaps it was the hour. Otherwise, I'm planning to stay there again. The Metro is about a 6 minute walk from the hotel and I have no concerns walking there during daylight. The Science Museum is just down the block and it's a three minute drive to Boston proper.
