What are your breakfast options?

We offer breakfast. We have a breakfast buffet every morning from 6:30am to 10:30am in our baroque Apollo room with painted ceiling.

In the buffet, you can find typical German things like rolls, marmalade, cheese, and cold cuts, but we also offer a variety of different breads, eggs (scrambled eggs or eggs sunny side up), beans, sausages, croissants, sweet pastries, and of course different juices and sparkling wine. Of course, you can order coffee, coffee specialties (milk coffee, latte macchiato, cappuccino, espresso, or chocolate), tea, and milk.

What can I do nearby?

You will find the following spots near the hotel:
- the Cathedral of Fulda (5 minutes’ walk)
- the St. Michael Church (a middle age church - 5 minutes’ walk)
- the historic part of Fulda with small narrow streets and a lot of nice little shops (guided sightseeing tour - walk, no driving possible)
- the Fire Department Museum with the history of firefighters and a lot of historic fire trucks (10 minute drive)
- the RADOM, a former radar station of the alleys during the cold war
- the Wasserkuppe, the tallest hill in the area (in the wintertime you can ski; in the summertime you can fly by glider or flex-wing)
- the oldest German distillery which is still working, you can buy hard liquor (from corn or fruits) and have a guided tour (30 minutes’ drive)
- You can visit the underground mining with a guided tour underground (1 hour drive).

You can also visit other cities near Fulda like Frankfurt, Bad Kissingen, Erfurt, Meiningen, Giessen, Kassel, and Würzburg.

Do you have internet?

Yes, we have internet in our rooms. You can either go online with a cable via modem. This will cost EUR 8,00 per hour or EUR 15,00 for 24 hours from noon to noon. Or you can use the hotspot and pay directly per credit card to the German Telekom (instructions available at the reception desk). You can also use our public guest PC for free if you just would like to check your e-mails.
