Each 400 SF unit features a handmade thatched roof to enhance the tropical ambiance, and is designed and furnished for comfort, cleanliness, and privacy. The interior is beautifully tiled and decorated with furniture handmade in Belize with local hardwoods. A visit to Mariposa Jungle Lodge includes fine-quality meals, featuring the best available ingredients, homemade with care. A different theme dinner is offered each night of the week. The hotel asks that guests make selections for each of the next day’s meals to enable the freshest necessary supplies and to avoid waste. Alternative selections are available if the choices don’t whet your individual appetite. A version of pasta or chicken will always be available for guests who prefer basics. Excursions are designed and selected to give guests the opportunity to truly experience the beauty of Belize.
