The hotel was superb and I recommend it 100%. Excellent location. Food and staff unremarkable! they gave me one of the best rooms with amazing views of the Victoria harbor. What else to ask for? I would go back there with no hesitation!

Great location for this plush hotel - we got an upgrade and the view was very impressive the facilities available were top notch and even turned the bed down for you - would recommend it to anyone as a treat as its not exactly budget.

Everything here was top notch. The internet was a bit pricey, but overall, a great stay. The location is great, a few minutes walk to the Star Ferry, and very close to the China Ferry.

I arrived to the hotel at abt 4 o'clock in the morning with a large suitcase a big duffel bag and a rucksack. Sure enough I was spotted by hotel personnel but no one offer assistance with my luggage. I took all up to the room as well. I took "smoking" room as I do in most of the places I stay. The room in Marco Polo stinks badly. The room is huge but there are no special facilities that will give visitor a feeling of the stars assigned to the hotel. On one occassion I found long hairs on the floor of my bathroom after room cleaning and the other time floor was stained with inprints of the cleaner's soles! Except for the great location, there is nothing in this hotel what will make me come again.

The hotel is in a great location - right next to the Star Ferry, and walking distance to great shopping. The service was just great, and the food menu was varied and good quality. However, the walls in the rooms are so thin that normal conversations can easily be heard. But that was the only criticism. Otherwise, we really enjoyed staying there.

Room design is not appropriate as pantry is located far from wash basin. Reception area does not indicate where one should go for check in/check out. After check out, bell boy took ages to bring my luggage to the taxi who was waiting!
