Manukan Island Resort Kota Kinabalu

Guests can choose to stay in one of the single or double storey chalets. All chalets overlook the South China Sea and a spectacular sunset is almost a daily affair. A shop and restaurant are also available for guests convenience. The island is ideal for small to medium-sized group meetings.

Only 20 minutes by boat from the state capital of Kota Kinabalu City, this beach hotel offers clear waters and beautiful coral reefs. The island, shaped like a dolphin, is blessed with a long stretch of white sandy beach promising hours of sea, sand and fun! Manukan has good stretches of beaches on the southern coastline and is the second largest island of the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine National Park.

The resort offers 4 different types of accommodation: namely Hilltop Lodge 1-storey bungalow (4 units), Hilltop Lodge split-level (6 units), Beach Lodge 1-storey bungalow (4 units) and Beach Lodge split-level (6 units). Obviously, the 1-storey bungalows are significantly bigger, offering 2 bedrooms, dining and living areas. All units are equipped with an air-conditioner, an attached bathroom and TV.

There is a trail system around the island. The resort is ideal for snorkelling, diving and swimming. Water sports such as banana boating, jet skiing and sailing are also on offer. In addition, the resort includes an outdoor pool. The hotel can also recommend that guests take timeout at the look out point where they can watch the beautiful Borneo sunset.

The Manukan Island Restaurant offers a wide selection of Asian and Continental cuisine. Visitors may also make arrangements to have a barbecue.
