What are your breakfast options?

We co not have a restaurant on site, however we do have restaurants situated just beside us. Café Balaena is a very popular eatery as they open at 6:00am and you have the option to room charge. Café Balaena stops serving breakfast at approximately 10:30am. Meals are reasonably priced; the most expensive being $25.00. You are also given the choice of buying a breakfast voucher to the café from reception at a value of $20.00. We do, in addition, have The Wheelhouse restaurant which you can also room charge to although they are only open for dinner. The Boat Club is also a further option for dining, located a short 1-2 minute walk down the footpath positioned outside the resort. The Boat Club provide buffet meals, café, sporting bar, pokies area and also a child mining area.

What transport is available to get around?

If you are flying in, you are able to organize car hire at the airport.

What can I do nearby?

Entertainment and attractions tend to be seasonal here at Hervey Bay. During July and late October is our whale watching season. As Mantra Hervey Bay is located on the marina, we have convenient access to all departing whale watching tours. Couple and family packages are available from the resort during July and October and this includes your accommodation as well as half a day whale watching. If you wish to select your own whale watching company as some have features, others do not, you may book at reception upon arrival. We also take bookings for Fraser Island Tours. These can be day tours as well as 2 or 3 day tours, depending on how much time you have on your hands. Fraser Island is the largest sand island in the world and only takes a short 40 minute barge ride to disembark. You are able to see the island from the view of your room as all our rooms have a view. This is a very popular destination for most guests and is available all year round. Furthermore you are able to hire bikes at reception and we are a brisk walk away from swimming beaches.

Do you have internet?

Yes we do have internet access obtainable in the rooms. This is a wi-fi access through Azure wireless and it will ask for credit card details and charges accordingly. Charges are available at reception upon check in. You do also have the option of using our computers in reception. This is at a charge of $2.00 for 10 minutes or $5.00 for 30 minutes which can be paid at reception or added to your room account.

Do you provide parking?

Parking is available at resort upon check in. Once you have been checked in at reception, car park gate keys will be issued. There is no extra fee for parking.
