The hotel was comfortable and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was one of the best things about the hotel, very large spread of food and the made to order omelettes was a hit with me. It was tough to get tea and coffee but juice and water were easy to find. The hotel had several shops and it was easier to shop there than at the souqs. There is also a club but I do not recommend going there. It was sometimes tough to find a taxi but if you walked to the main street you could easily find one. We had an issue with no hot water one morning and they never came to fix it - this is my biggest complaint about the stay. Th hotel room was spacious for two two people, plenty of closet space and the toilet and shower were two different areas. The room had a balcony and this was so nice to be overlooking the pool. While it wasn't warm enough - the pools looked lovely.

Very poor service. The hotel is out to squeeze as much from you as they can get. Example - if you want to bring in a bottle of water, better put it in a bag concealed. You are officially REQUIRED to purchase all your water from the hotel at 5-10 times the rates on the streets. Also, want to be harassed? Just walk out the front door of the hotel and you too will have the opportunity to be personally harassed by an ""official"" guide provided by the hotel.

This is an excellent hotel for the price. The staff was welcoming and helpful along with being able to speak English. The room was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The amenities were great. It was nice to have a fruit basket and bottle water waiting in my room. I would highly recommend the Mansour Eddahbi Hotel Marrakech.
