The Mansion View Inn is located across the street from the Governors Mansion in Springfield. It is a short walk to the State Capitol, Secretary of State, Illinois Department of Transportation, Abraham Lincoln sites, Crowne Plaza Convention Center, and historic downtown.

What are your breakfast options?: We offer a free continental breakfast with rooms, from 6:00am-9:00am daily, (milk, juice, coffee, cereal, bagels, danish, etc.) There is also a cafe about 5 minutes away by car that opens at 6:00am.
What transport is available to get around?: There is a city public transportation that picks up a block from the hotel every half-hour starting at 6:15 am and running until 5:45pm. They also have select late-night buses. Lincoln Cab runs taxis 24 hours per day throughout the city.
What can I do nearby?: Most of the entertainment nearby is that of the historical sites: Lincoln's Home, Lincoln Museum, Illinois State Museum, State Capital Complex, etc. There is also a performance arts theater just a couple of blocks from the hotel which hosts plays and musicals throughout the year (Hoogland Center For The Arts).
