i think it is the most dirty place i have ever had the dishonor of being in i mean come on i have been in dumpsters cleaner than that never ever, ever i warn you ever go in that hotel. and i mean it!

Can't complain for the price. They put us right in the middle of everything, bway shows, time sq, empire state building... We didn't spend that much time in the hotel, but for the 4 nights that we were there, i have no complaints. The staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were a bit small but very clean and there was internet access throughout the building. I'd recommend this place if u r not so picky about having a spacious room and if u r on a budget.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. For the price we paid, it was ridiculous. The rooms are tiny, nothing like the pictures posted on the internet. There was no hot water to take a shower, their lift/elevators don`t work ( we were on the 4th floor), the fan in the bathroom was broken, there is no carpeting only tile floors and they were freezing cold, there is plastic on the mattress, the towels were tiny almost the size of a kitchen towel. Shall I go on? The only positive thing about this hotel is it`s location. It is really close to everything, but that`s all. Very disgusting. Do not stay there

i was in this hotel back in 2008, march and the front desk area really scared me but due to the low rate i decided to try again and boy was i glad. apparently they have renovated the lobby (which was scary before) and the rooms are still small but they renovated that too and it was really a nice stay this time around. I will definitely go back now!!! Hope this is helpful

This so was awful we left. Looked to dangerous to stay in . This should be taken off of all travel sites before someone is injured. Nasty and scary. False advertising and they show pictures of how it will look if ever renovated. We took pictures to get our money back.We are turning them in to New York safety code to shut them down. Please do not stay here.

Perfect accommodation for vampires and moles as there is no natural daylight in any of the rooms. If you are lucky enough to get a room with a window the black mesh covering it keeps it in darkness. The mix of old furniture gives the rooms a 1950 feel which was when it was probably last decorated. Check out the window as a fire escape and bring your own towels.

Don't go there! It is very dirty.

I usually never complain about my hotel & never ask too much. I do not know if hotel in NY is very expensive, but the hotel is really unenjoyable. The receptionist was not friendly at all. The non smoking room was with smoking hole in blanket, shower / water handle was from big nail, broken cap to adjust hot/cold water. Bath tub with some black tape on it, may be to cover the leaking. Next time, I prefer to stay away from Times Square but better quality. This hotel is not as wonderful as its name!

Great location, though not the cleanest and most comfortable places

DO NOT STAY HERE -- It is absolutely dismal. Towels, which we had to beg for, were small with holes in them, no heat except for a space heater, hotel staff were very rude, bed covers looked like they came from Goodwill, no amenities period.

The clerk behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. The parking situation was terrible. There was nowhere to park without having to move your car very early in the morning several blocks away. Room was cramped and stuffy. Fitting two Queen sized beds in a closet is NOT a good idea. The utilities in the bathroom were broken or hard to manage. My linen closet is bigger than the elevator!!! This hotel is suitable for buddies hanging out, tourist without vehicles and couples without a care in the world for where they stay. I am not likely to return.

The staff here were very friendly and helpful. The location is superb and we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. This was my first time in NYC and staying here I felt very safe and secure and never worried about my belongings. The room we had was fairly basic but the beds were comfortable and the shower was warm so you couldn't ask for anymore considering the price. I'd recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good place to base themselves without paying a fortune for it.

Basically for a one night stay it was the worst,. I thought that my daughter and I were never going to be able to go to sleep. I guest exhaustion wore us down and we finally did drift off. I guest I got what I paid for in New York dollars. Thanks for your time and interest.

Hotel is very well located. It was rather easy to find. The general condition of the hotel is not so good. During our stay (4 nights) elevator was not working. In the room the window was opening into some sort of ventilation channel - no daylight at all. Hotel was very noisi. Will not recommend.

The staff was very nice and accomedating with my group of 10, The rooms were quite small, but we were in the rooms so very little that it didn't matter. The location was very good and the bathrooms were clean. could have used better towels but for the price what more could I have expected. I would stay there again with a group.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful and nice. The only thing I did not like is that your price is high and you’re really not getting anything but a room. Also there is not a place in the hotel to get coffee. I think the hotel should have an area where guest can enjoy hot coffee or tea and not have to walk around to another café for something hot.

Shockingly small rooms and extremely dirty sheets. When I asked for clean ones they gave me sheets that were equally as dirty. Don't stay here.

its a very small but clean hotel and its about ten mins walk from time square... the staff are very helpfull only bad thing was windows dont open and we had to go out and buy air fresh to get rid of smell of smoke...oh and we lft some money behind us one of the day and when we came back room was cleaned and money was still there...we really enjoyed it and would stay there again
