| Can't complain for the price. They put us right in the middle of everything, bway shows, time sq, empire state building...
We didn't spend that much time in the hotel, but for the 4 nights that we were there, i have no complaints. The staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were a bit small but very clean and there was internet access throughout the building.
I'd recommend this place if u r not so picky about having a spacious room and if u r on a budget. |

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. For the price we paid, it was ridiculous. The rooms are tiny, nothing like the pictures posted on the internet. There was no hot water to take a shower, their lift/elevators don`t work ( we were on the 4th floor), the fan in the bathroom was broken, there is no carpeting only tile floors and they were freezing cold, there is plastic on the mattress, the towels were tiny almost the size of a kitchen towel. Shall I go on? The only positive thing about the Manhattan Broadway Hotel New York is it`s location. It is really close to everything, but that`s all. Very disgusting. Do not stay there

i was in the Manhattan Broadway Hotel New York back in 2008, march and the front desk area really scared me but due to the low rate i decided to try again and boy was i glad. apparently they have renovated the lobby (which was scary before) and the rooms are still small but they renovated that too and it was really a nice stay this time around. I will definitely go back now!!! Hope this is helpful

This so was awful we left. Looked to dangerous to stay in . This should be taken off of all travel sites before someone is injured. Nasty and scary. False advertising and they show pictures of how it will look if ever renovated. We took pictures to get our money back.We are turning them in to New York safety code to shut them down. Please do not stay here.

Perfect accommodation for vampires and moles as there is no natural daylight in any of the rooms. If you are lucky enough to get a room with a window the black mesh covering it keeps it in darkness. The mix of old furniture gives the rooms a 1950 feel which was when it was probably last decorated. Check out the window as a fire escape and bring your own towels.

The hotel offered a rate of 74.99, which is not bad for a small room with clean bed and private bathroom. There is no internet in the room, the lighting is average-poor, but the room is clean and the hotel is located two blocks away from the Times Square and about 10 blocks (10-15 minutes walk) from Jacob K Javits Convention Center. 8th Avenue has plenty of restaurants, the area is convinient to catch a public transportation. It is acceptable for a short business like stay.

We got what we payed for, it was a budget hotel. Two kingsize beds for a triple room and very little space to put our bags. A good selection of TV channels and good air-conditining. The only direct thing to complain about is the size of the towels, they were tiny. If you rather are thicker than thin, bring your own towels. The hotel is perfectly situated in midtown Manhattan, everything is more or less close.

The first night the room's carpet was filthy and old, the room small but once a got in the room I immediately received a call from the girl in the reception giving me the option to change the room by the next day, and we did so, the rest of the week the stay was really pleasant, they cleaned our room every day. There were only 2 bad issues; 1. In the mornings the halls are a little bit noisy, 2. The towels are really small, so bring your own towels. remember is not a 5 stars hotel but it has a great location (3 blocks from Times square, 1 from madison square garden, it is just in tne middle of the island) and the price is good.

Absolutely awful, worst hotel I have ever stayed in!. Room was dirty, as were towels (and their replacements when grumpy staff issued them). Room was very hot & air conditioner didnt work but fan turned so staff unwilling to do anything about it, it was also extremely noisy - preventing sleep. The room itself was tiny, dirty, had rusty metal fitments hanging off radiator. There was nowhere to put / hang clothes. Curtains didnt cover whole window so those in next building (a few feet away) could look straight in - had to lean my suitcase against the window. No Tea / coffee making facility. Poor tv quality, and remote wired to the wall so could only operate from one point in room. No soft lighting. Both the sink and bath plug mechanisms were faulty - at least the shower worked. Hotels has no public areas - its merely a collection of overpriced squalid rooms in a slum. Do not consider staying here - better to walk the street all night!

I am disgusted that lastminute has the audacity to offer this so-called hotel. They have clearly never checked it out. It bears no resemblance to its description and is frankly filthy, dangerous and at *, outrageous. It's little more than a rat-infested doss-house.
