The Mangrove Tree Resort is one of the largest hotels in Sanya. The hotel is within walking distance to the beach and many tourist hot spots in the city. Shopping and dining establishments are a short drive from the hotel. The Hainan Sanya Airport is forty five kilometers from the Mangrove Tree Resort. The hotel can be reached through taxi, though guests can also rent cars to get around the city.

Every room in the Mangrove Tree Resort has a balcony. There are standard rooms, deluxe suites and executive suites within the hotel. Each room has a minibar, DDD telephone, iron and ironing board, satellite TV, air conditioning and a data port.

Three onsite restaurants serve Chinese, Thai and Western cuisine.
