Didn't stay there this time but spent a lot of time there because of convention. Ordered a Long Island Ice tea and was shocked to find that it cost 14.00$. OMG what were they thinking. Won't be going back there.

It was an awesome experience. We enjoyed everything from the service to the atmosphere of the Hotel. It was a very enjoyable setting and very relaxing. Only thing I didn't like was having to pay for the fitness center. It should come with the room. Other than that it was really great!

Beautiful hotel. Pool is great. Nice lazy river but be sure to bring your own tube has the hotel charges about $25.00 for one. The hotel is located at the far end of the strip. Tram runs to Luxor and Excalibur. The only down side was it took an hour and a half to get our bags delivered to our room. Staff was friendly.

They upgraded us, so I wasquite biased! Huge property. We were upgraded to a penthouse suite. The most amazing room I've ever stayed in, 25 years of business travel.

The bed was incredibly comfortable. Nice big flat screen TV. A bit of a trek from center of the LV strip. Luxurious and beautiful. Very comfortable, good sized room with a great bed! Many restaurants to choose from. Nice beach and pool area. Tram stop in the hotel takes you to Luxor and Excalibur. Free tram ride.

Roomrate very very reasonable for a real first class, classy hotel. However services e.g. internet extraordinary expensive.

First time at Mandalay Bay Resort. Stayed for 8 days April 8 to 15th. Wonderful experience & will return. Very clean well maintained and great staff. The grounds and pool area is beautiful. If the weather is sunny and warm make sure you get to the pool area early otherwise you might be without lounge chairs. Great resort for both adults and children.

The room layout and comfortable bed were the two biggest winners! When you're two in a hotel room and one wants to read or watch TV, how does the other sleep? In this room layout, that's how! There's a separating door to the sitting area with a second TV. So one can close the door, enjoy other activities, while their spouse sleeps comfortably in the luxurious bed. I had made individual travel (flight and hotel) arrangements with far less enjoyable accommodations and then compared what I could get for the same price on Travelocity. WOW...a real luxury suite the THEhotel for the same price when I combined the hotel/airfare/local shuttle. There are actually 3 TV's, separate shower and tub, even a guest bathroom off the sitting area. Loved the room. The only negative to THEhotel was room service. Overpriced and mediocre quality. Other dining in the complex was much better, though still pricey.

if your looking for you and your family to get away to a nice hotel i highly suggest that you check it out. me & my husband and are 3 boys stayed in a 4 bedroom suite 2,000 sq ft. it is just unbeliveable for your kids their is a wave pool a lazy river & just 3 plain pools. but if you are looking for a good family place to stay choose. the hotel at mandalay bay.

The Hotel at Mandalay Bay is certainly reflecting signs of the credit crunch. Rooms no longer receive complimentary newspapers. The flower arrangements in the main areas are far less than in past years. The cable channels are fewer. The bathrobes and slippers are now 100% polyester. The laundry bags are now plastic bags and no longer embroidered The Hotel cloth bags. They only allocate 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, etc. per room rather than several bottles for both the shower and bathtub. And the staff are no longer as courteous as in past years but verging on abrupt. I was told that there had been a change in management since last year. I shall no longer be staying at The Hotel; it no longer exceeds my expectations as their hold phone message exclaims. If you have booked this hotel, my tip would be to ask for west-facing rooms. I hear the east-facing rooms are too noisy (facing the airport).

We absolutely loved Mandalay Bay, but it's location for seeing the whole Strip is a little out of the way. The pool was beautiful and very clean. Our room was spacious and the bathroom amazing!!! If you have children, this would be a great place to take them in Sin City.

The swimming pool was fun & the Lion King was great. Too snobbish, forgot about customer service. We heard this hotel was great to stay at. We found that the front desk service changed our stay to a smaller room. The room wasn't anything special and the beds were horrible.

Loved the bedding. No coffee pot in the room. For a resort the amenities were not available to usas they were under maintenance like the wave pool and beach were closed. No coffee pot in the room!

I have stayed at the mandalay Bay for many years. Your pricing was the best I have had. I will use your services again!

The room was nice, but the bed was an issue. Took forever for Housekeeping to bring new pillows which were just as bad as the ones on the bed. They should also tell people that the "pool" view rooms also have the airport view. It was impossible to get a chair at any of the pools unless you went down first thing in the morning and all the staff offered were cabanas or chairs for rent.

What a pleasure staying here. The rooms were huge and ultra modern and comfortable. Huge soaking tub, marble showers, two big screen televisions including a third smaller one in the bathroom. Recessed lighting in the ceiling along the curtain lines. Even the armoir lights up when you open the door. The bed was just about as comfortable as the one I have at home. You definitely have to not mind walking a little bit. It is about a 2 or 3 minute walk to get into the Mandalay Bay Casino where all the gaming action is and the multiple restaurants, the Bayside Buffet, etc. My only negative blip on the screen... there is absolutely no security what-so-ever. Many hotels require that you at least have a room key to insert into the elevator in order for it to work. Anybody could simply park there car, walk right in at 3am, and go up the elevators into the hotel. Overall I felt like I treated myself to a chic, luxurious 4 day getaway and cant wait to do it again. I will definitely go back to THE hotel.

From the time you walk into the room until you leave you will feel like you spent your time in pure luxury. The room consists of a powder room, living room, bedroom and large bathroom with tub, shower and tv. The amenties smell wonderful, the facial soap smells like tangerine. The beds feel like you are sleeping on a cloud and the views from their floor to ceiling windows either by day or night are magnificent. You can order food and have a romantic evening right inside the room while seeing the strip at night with lights. The food choices in this hotel are for anything you could desire. We found a good place for burgers...gourmet burgers called the Burger Bar in the mall that attaches to the hotel. The pool area consists of several pools, a lazy river with cabana's to rent. For a day of luxury you can sit in your cabana cooling with a fan on the couch watching tv while the cabana boy brings you drinks and eats or sit outside the cabana basking in the sun and enjoying the day. The hotel leads to several other hotels by walking to the Luxor and taking the tram to NYNY and taking the walkway to MGM. Nice walk and inexpensive way to get to through the strip. THE hotel has become my favorite place to stay after coming to LV for the past 10 years. Pure luxury and romance for those getaway weekends.

I was very happy to see that Kathy Griffin was visiting. We managed to catch her show that night when we arrived. It was really good. The lady who helped us reserve our seats was very friendly. Unfortunately I found that the room was not very clean. There was hair in the bath tub and dusty shelfs in the bathroom. The service down at the store offering a variety of necessities were not very good/friendly. That also includes the little pastry/coffee counter located as you are walking towards the check in area, you will have it on your right side. They did not look like they wanted to be there.

The prices of food and other items were terribly high. A bottle of water that could be purchased down the strip a few blocks for $.50 to $1.00 cost $4.50 in the shops or $2.00 in the vending machine. A plain old hot dog was $5.00. I stayed at the hotel so that I was close to the conference held at the convention center. As it turned out, the walk was VERY long to get there from the room. It would have been shorter (and less expensive) to stay in another hotel and park in the parking lot at the convention center.
