COOL LITTLE BREAKvery nice hotel, my wife and I stayed Friday and Saturday, ace breakfast and got a great deal from laterooms, bar was a little pricey, pint of lager and vodka and coke about £8.50. great location though smake in the middle of town and parking a very easy at Qpark about 100 metre's from the hotel, would stay again.

Beautiful hotel, perfect for romantic 'getaway', close to all amenities.Booked the night before we went, turned up to check in 2 hours early, expecting to have to occupy myself, or to be trouble with checking in due to a late booking, but was pleased to see I was able to go straight to my room, and everything was all sorted. Room was beautiful, massive bed. Only complaint was position of the television meant we couldn't watch it whilst in bed without hurting our necks. Perfect location, right next to brilliant restaurants such as la tasca and bibis, and only 5 minutes to walk to briggate, the main shopping street.Would definitely reccomend this hotel to anyone.

A Night at the MalAs a surprise to my wife for our 1st Anniversary, i arranged for us to go to Leeds for the evening and stay over at the Malmaison Hotel. We were impressed with the modern decoration in the hotel. As we were checking in the receptionist chatted lightly with us asking about the reason for our stay as we haven't travelled very far. We got to our room and was impressed with it but was itching to do a bit of shopping and have a drink. On our return there was a box of chocs on the bed with a card signed by the Mal Team in Leeds saying Happy Anniversary which we were really touched by and it just topped off the service of the staff. We are coming back to Malmaison but may just try a different city next time. Highly recommended.

Excellent Location and Great Value for MoneyAlthough only classed as three star the Malmasion Leeds is worthy of more. The room was excellent and the location near to Leeds train station, Bars and Shops was perfect for us. We would really recommend this hotel. Good value breaks were available for the weekend we stayed.

Romantic GetawayFantastic hotel, lovely staff. Special touch of rose petals, card and chocs in room for anniversery. Location perfect for walking into town - had to park over the road in multi storey but staff gave clear directions and 10% discount. Drinks in bar really nice, very quiet and relaxed. Breakfast was the best I have ever eaten - choice was immense and then cooked breakfast of your choice to follow. loved it all and hoping to make a habit of visiting these hotels whenever possible

a glorified travel innOur room was bland unimaginative and ordinary. Having stayed at a number of malmaison hotels this one unfortunately didn't live up to expectations. Disappointing.

Decent HotelJust stayed for a romantic night. Pretty heavy but stylish room. Good quality furnishings. TV was flickering. Breakfast in bed was of average/good quality. Staff professional and neat. Overall place seemed high quality, but a little bit comercial.

weekend awayHad an enjoyable stay at Malmaison Leeds. The hotel is positioned for an easy walk to the city centre. Car Parking in Q Park - £12+ for 24hrs. We had a modern comfortable clean room.Malmaison is suitable for a city break - breakfast v.good but the dining room is dark and cramped and I felt too close to neighbouring tables. However food good. Would stay again - if a deal with Laterooms

City BreakersNeeded to relax and this certainly hit the spot. Great hotel well situated for access to all the delights of Leeds centre. Decided to venture out of hotel for evening meal and there was lots of choice on the doorstep, though think the quality of food at Malmaison might have been a better bet in the end if the standard of the evening meal was anything like the breakfast, which was exceptional. Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Extras in the room were of high quality, which helped make it feel more of a 'treat'. Only small disappointment was the length of the bed, which was rather short for us taller types! Wish hotels would use king size as standard, but hey.. No natural fresh air either - slight shame. Great value for money with LateRooms.

A proper hotel!I was here on business and my fiancee came with me because she had some time off work. I chose the Malmaison because I wanted to pamper her and we weren't disappointed. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the whole experience was very relaxing because we felt we were well looked after from start to finish. We had a very pleasant room and a superb dinner; and the hotel is very close to the center of Leeds for easy access to shops, entertainment etc.

The usual stuff done exceptionally wellThis hotel exceeded my expectations. We were offered free DVDs to borrow as well as CDs. Room service was prompt and the food good. The room was very well stocked with refreshments to begin with - we're talking lovely wine and nibbles, and real coffee bags, not sachets of instant! The selection of teas was spot on, including decaff and herbal varieties as well as Earl Grey and Breakfast blends. We would have liked a free biscuit or two to go with that.We also enjoyed the generous bath which filled in seconds with lashings of warm bubbly water. The bed was very comfortable with a lovely feather duvet and pillows. Though we were there purely to enjoy the room together, we did also enjoy a quick stroll along either side of the river. In the morning we found Leeds' main shopping area was literally a couple of minutes walk away.Really the biscuits is the only thing I can think of that could be improved. Why aren't all hotels like this?
