ExcellentGood value weekend break with 3rd night free, great location and classy room. No complaints. Sunday breakfast was busy and overcrowded with a 30+ minute delay but that was the only gripe, generally really good.

What a horrible experienceI tend to have very high expectations about the Malmaison chain but was taken aback by the cleanliness of the room which was dirty and dusty. Definitely will not be staying there again.

Single NightStayed here before but last time the food was far better than it was this time. Room and service to a good standard but let down by the quality of the food. We ate in the Brasserie early evening as we were going out to a show and the waiting staff were pleasant and very willing as were the bar staff the meal however was average at best. We were in a rush and so didn't make a fuss on this occasion. In the morning we went down for breakfast at 9am and the 'English' breakfast was barely warm and had obviously been sat under lights for sometime as it was dry, overall not good!

I expected betterThere were spots of what appeared to be blood on the bedside lamp shade on the right hand side of the bed as you look at it. There also appeared to be blood or dirt on the bottom left hand corner of the net curtain on the right hand side window. PLEASE get your cleaners to examine the rooms properly when cleaning them. Had someone been murdered in there at some point?????? I expect better for a room that cost £99!

Excellent value stay! The hotel was in an excellent location with friendly staff and superb rooms. At £79 that I paid for a twin room, the value for money was amazing.

The Mal Masion Experience!Me & my friend were looking for a day of retail therapy, nice food and drinks. My friends Rachel Deacy has stayed with you on many occasions and said Mal Maison, Birmingham was the ideal place. She did however mention it may be expensive, but we thought what they hell its pay day - splash out!!! We looked on Late Rooms because of it being a half term week (thinking we wouldn't get anywhere) and to our delight not only was a twin room avaliable, but it was for the bargain price of £79.00 (heaven!). We checked in prompltly and went to our room. My friend thought for the price (compared to the standard room tariff which is £100.00+) would be a small room with enough room to swing a cat! However to our sheer excitement we had a huge room with a massive bathroom and 2 double beds! The roomas are of a very high standard and very clean, with all the creature comforts and luxuries you caould ask for. The hotel is perfectly situated for the fantastic shopping experience which is the MailBox and the bistro dining on the water front is simply delightful, and the beautiful hot weather was an added bonus. The nightlife is also fab and was the topping on the cake!!! Thank You Mal Masion - Brimingham, but thank you Late Rooms for your fantasic deals!! Love Rachel & Sarah xx

A must for a trip to Birmingham! We had an incredible stay at the Malmaison, the room was amazing value at the late rooms price. We would definately recommend staying here! WE were down for a concert at the Symphony Hall, perfect canalside walk to the venue from the hotel, and ofcourse great location for shopping and relaxing whilst being in the city centre itself. As it was my partners birthday, i got him a massage at the hotel Spa, it was the best he has ever had, and the spa itself is gorgeous!!! No wonder it is so highly recommeneded, if you have the time treat yourself! We are so looking forward to staying there again!!!!!

a fantastic place to stayThe Mal birmingham was fantastic having stayed in the leeds one which was fab, the gentleman who checked me into my room was very pleasant. the room was modern and clean. The toiletries in the bathroom were lovely and towels fluffy and clean. the television was the old bulky type which looked out of place in such a modern room. apart from that i have no complaints about this hotel. it is a perfect weekend hotel, with a big bar, with a good atmosphere. i would recommend it to anyone looking for a trendy, fun place..there are great shops near the hotel..Harvey Nics etc..parking is nearby too but a bit expensive if you are staying for 3 night like i did..the hotel should negotiate with the car park people and get a discount for their guests..£54 was a bit much I thought. Besides the little things i mentioned i would be back again. booked it through late rooms, they are fantastic. they had the best offer i could find on line.
