Well designed & attractive room with good appliances/IT. Bed v comfortable & room very well ventilated. Dinner a tad disappointing although reasonable value at £17-50 for 3 courses on the set menu. A-la-carte v expensive- steaks extortionately expensive-top London prices. Wine list very expensive with no resonably priced house wines. Paid £29 for a bottle of special feature Argentinian red- v good but was pretty much the least expensive available. Eclectic mix of diners from retired couples, business people to groups of young wannabees aspiring to the Malmaison brand. The latter were very noisy (Drunk-especially a few of the girls) which almost ruined a quiet romantic dinner.

The room was a very good value and the service was good. Only complaint was breakfast was not complimentary as advertised, just a 5 dollar coupon off. Breakfast was skimpy and not very hot, not good.

Booking through late rooms.comAccommodation was excellent value for the price that we paid through Laterooms.com but I thought that it was not worth the price had I booked through the hotel and paid full price!

Malmaison - -First ClassWhat a lovely hotel! We liked our stay so much that we have come home and joined their website to receive news on their latest promotions etc. Although we didn't eat in the brasserie (we had our 12 weeks old baby with us) we did have food via room service and it was delicious! The accommodation was first class and the style of decor suited us perfectly. The young man who delivered our food was absolutely charming. He deserves this feedback especially when he remained charming despite knowing I had no cash to tip him! Planning our next weekend back already. Hopefully it will tie in with a promotion. Thank you Malmaison!

Smart hotel with great looking dinning room and bar. Room a little pokey and dark, with a dripping shower and wonky sink plug, neither a big deal but took the edge off. Breakfast was pricey and adequate, but the dinner menu looked really good. No doorman, so the clerk (a wee lass) had to manage our rather large bags. Friendly and helpful. Usually travelling on business for something like 90 nights a year I thought this was fair value. for the price I paid. I would stay again as I like the location and it is generally pretty smart and up to date.

Aberdeen Business VisitI enjoyed my stay at the Malmaison in Aberdeen and particularly enjoyed the meal in the excellent restaurant. The hotel is located out-of-town in an upmarket residential district. One potential drawback (although not a problem for me) was the location of the bedrooms adjacent to a school/nursery with a playground/all-weather sports pitch immediately outside my room. If I had arrived late and had been looking forward to a lie-in I might have been disturbed by this.Would certainly stay again on my next visit.

fantastic value, at least off peak!Hotels in Aberdeen are usually booked up weeks in advance, and are more expensive than London prices(H.I.express £150!!). Malmaison is several cuts above chains like the Hilton, has a great restaurant (often booked by non-residents), and charges are dependent on occupancy. It was £85 Sunday, £95 Monday and would have been £180 on Tuesday. If you can get a decent rate dont even think about going elsewhere. The rooms are new, beautifully furnished and spotless, with free broadband. There is a very high staff/guest ratio, with friendly and helpful staff. You couldn't ask for more.

Great Night at MalmaisonMyself and partner decided to treat ourselves with a night out, without having to get a taxi/train or bus home. We were only booked in one night and it was lovely, very plush, modern and cosy. Would have liked to have stayed longer. We ordered room service and Continetal breakfast in our room (beautifully served) it was very luxurious for a very decent price. Will definately go again!!!

Was given room 104 i the original buiiding. I was kept awake both nights by the music being played in the bar below me.I had dinner in The Brasserie with three friends. It was overpriced for pretty average food.

Home from homeThis is our second stay at the Mal in Aberdeen in just a few weeks. As previously, the room was immaculate, food and service totally beyond reproach. Overall the atmosphere in the hotel is of quiet efficiency while the clientelle are lively but not obtrusive. We ,very much, enjoyed the `breakfast in a hamper` which is the continental variety, deliverd to our room. Unless you are very hungry, one of these is quite adequate for two. If there is any negative at all it is hard to find... but I did feel that when walking across the glass floor in a short skirt was slightly unnerving!

Malmaison, AberdeenIdeal location in city - quiet but close to centre in affluent area. Beautifully restored building. Let down on small things like no shortbread or biscuit with tea & coffee making facilities. Only 3 tissues in tissue box, no newspaper delivered when requested on Sunday morning; although on saying that 2 out of 3 rectified immediately. Not good lighting to put on makeup but plenty mirrors. Breakfast was slow arriving and bacon rolls came after tea & coffee delivered which meant hot drinks not so hot with food!

Great Staff poor finish crap breakfastThe staff were fantasticThis hotel is new. The rooms are very good, but some of the finishings are shoddy. The cold tap in the basin was hanging off.I only had breakfast and it was cold when it arrived. The plates werenot hot enough. Spot onStayed at hotel for one night while visiting Aberdeen for a wedding.Absolutley superb room, very well appointed and good value for money through laterooms.com.Location of hotel is excellent, in a quiet area but not too far from city centre.Did not use the restaurant or bar, but if they are anything like the rest of the facilities I'm sure they will be great too.
