Hotel was about a ten minute walk from Temple Bar area, but if you want to get in a full night of sleep it's worth it. Hotel was very clean, and the breakfast is quite good (although it costs a bit extra).

Excellent hotel in the city centre and only a 5 minute walk to O'Connell Street. Ideal for city break. Rooms clean and tidy with all the facilities you would expect. Breakfast was good, excellent value and kids eat free.

location was great - very clean and comfortable they were NOT sure if i had already PAID via priceline and were going to CHARGE ME AGAIN! -in fact i cannot be sure if i'm charged until my bill ariv

The staff was incredibly helpful, and the hotel was clean and new. Nothing. We loved this hotel. It was so clean and new, and the location worked out really well for us. It's on the north side of the Liffey, which makes it a bit of a walk from most of the tourist attractions, but it really wasn't bad. We enjoyed being a bit removed from the busier part of the city, and the store was located right near a couple grocery stores which helped us save money on food. The best part of the hotel, though, was the staff. They were so friendly and helpful, offering to make reservations at restaurants for us, giving us directions, and just bending over backwards to make our stay great. We'd definitely recommend it!

HOTEL V.G. CENTRAL TO CITY CENTRE, STAFF PLEASANT AND EFFICIENT

Great people, nice, new hotel, location not too far away Neighborhood can be dicey late at night. Very pleasant, clean, new hotel. Staff was outstanding. Facilities across the board were great. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from Temple Bar, etc. but well worth it. The neighborhood (north of the Liffey) can be questionable late at night and morning on a Friday and Saturday but nothing especially scary or sketchy.

Left luggage.The left luggage store was not locked and another client of the hotel lost their luggage. No one checked the numbers of the reciepts matched the numbers on the luggage when we collected ours.

Leaving. Location, facilities, staff. This was a terrible hotel and an awful experience. We switched over to the Gresham, which was far better and cheaper! The staff are not friendly or helpful, and the rooms are substandard. It's in a dodgy part of town as well.

Great location, good basic accommodation!If you choose to stay here and you are flying get the 16A bus from just outside the hotel. It cost 1.80 euro as opposed to the airport one at 6 euros. It takes about 30 mins and drops you outside the airport. Going it leaves on the hour and half past and coming back it was about every 20 mins, eg 10.20, 10.40 etc. Hotel was fine, nice and clean and tea / coffee replenished every day. Our only disappointment was that on the website it said that DVD and satellite were available at the hotel. Instead it seems this is only available at their larger branches.

Good location, crap staff on receptionHotel is located on a corner not too far (10min walk) from the major attractions of Dublin. Its quite a modern, busy reception and restaurant on the street level. Downside is there is no parking for the hotel only on the street which is metered. Free between 18.00 and 07.00, so I had to get up early and put 2 x Euro 2.40 in the meter for a couple of hours. I'd had a long day when I arrived and there was nobody on reception, I had to use my mobile to phone the hotel and ask if someone could come to the desk! In all they seemed very short staffed and not bothered. Having got someone to the reception desk, he then proceeded to tell me all his troubles and woes, " Oh its been a long shift etc, 9hrs, no breaks (he was eating when I disturbed him!)" . Then it was "You wont get any food at the restaurant as there is a large group staying". Great; I just love negative people. I finally got my key after telling me I wasnt booked in, then I was, then more form filling + general timewasting. Staff need training definitely. Got to my room on 2nd floor, door wouldnt unlock, he hadnt validated the card! Down to reception again, grrr! Horaay got into the room which was comfortable and nicely furnished in modern style. Breakfast was self service and poor quality items although only Euro 8.00, it seemed a melee of confusion with people learning to use multiple toasters, coffee machines and hot water. All the food was laid out in an an erratic order didnt help and no staff. Yep, staff were crap......only book if its a good, cheap deal and you want to eat out would be my recommendation. Pleased I only paid Euro 55.

The mighty MaldronFine hotel, helpful staff, immaculate rooms. A problem free stay in accommodation which is maintained and furnished to a standard way above that you might expect for the price. Sure, the neighbourhood is a little 'grittier' than Temple Bar, but your night's sleep in this place is unlikely to be ruined by five Geordies on a stag night chasing their mate Scooby down the corridor with a firehose.

Free internet access, nice big bed, bathtub, decent location, relatively quiet, very clean. Not many restaurants or other conveniences in the immediate vicinity. Newer and more chic than we'd expected for the star rating. The room was small but well appointed, with a nice king-sized bed and a nice bathroom with tub. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

the hotel has a very trendy decoration with very nice and welcoming hotel staffthe room ( it was a bit small for 2) with very comfortable bed and nice furniturethe hotel also offers smoking bedrooms (which was perfect for us)the location ( in a developing area of dublin with market around and easygoing people), 15 mn walk (with highheels!) till temple bar!and the best for the end, we had a great price , around 50€/night!honestly .......the hotel was perfect
