Just stayed here for fleetwood mac concert recently for one night, wish i had been there longer.Hotel rooms are perfect.Just about 10/15min walk to the city centre,a lovely walk.Close to the o2 but soon to be closer, bridge being built at the minute so its an extra 10min walk or so, again a lovely walk especially long the liffey at night time with the small boats in the water. The spa club is brill. The morning breakfast is amazing with lots to choose from;tea coffee, apple juice, orange, summer fruits, toast, rolls, bacon, sausages, beans, eggs, croissants, selection of jams and butter, cereals, fruit. We didnt have food in the restaurant but there was a good offer on carvery for 18euros for 3courses.We did order a pizza from room service which was 22euros 9" which was a bit expensive but very worth it.Really satisfied with stay.Double bed and breakfast only £101 sterling or 110euros.

This hotel was perfect for our girls weekend about 15-20 minutes walk to Temple bar area or main centre. Hotel in excellent condition only negative you have to buy a pool hat at 2.50 euros and the steam room had no steam.

The hotel was much better than expected. Comfortable and very clean rooms, good towels. We were 4 days in Dublin as tourists and the only disadvantage was its location. It's in the business district, lots of building going on in the area and slightly deserted at night. Also, a good walk to transportation. All in all, though, we liked the fact that the rooms were spacious, clean, with internet access and quiet for a morning sleep in.

Clean, modern rooms - great beds and bathtubs. No alarm clock in room and they blew my wake up call. Very attractive rooms and building - not centrally located, but a short walk from the city center. Very good value for money given the first rate nature of the building an room interiors.

Ideal for those on business travel visiting offices in the Sir John Rogerson's Quay or Pearse Street area.

Great hotel. Clean, spacious, good facilities (pool, sauna, bar, free broadband enabled TVs in rooms, etc). Only downside is location - about a 15-20 minute walk from Temple bar area / O' Connell st, ok on a nice evening, not so great in the rain.

i thought this hotel was excellent for me. I was there for a concert at the o2 so the location was perfect, room clean and staff very helpful.

The hotel is a bit out of the way if you are not going to the convention center. This extra distance out of the city center is made up for by the helpful and friendly staff.

Very pleasant, new hotel situated nearby City Centre. Good sized bedrooms. Reception for arrivals and departures slow.

room servicelooked for room service at night. first no answer then was told they were busy they would ring back, then after ten minutes we rang again was told again they would ring back after third time they took order and was told 45 mins to an hour for a pizza, so we decided against it.

Enjoyed the trip, only had problems with car park, this hotel did not have one and it was very costly. Had to turn in the car early as parking was over $35 Euro a day.

The 15-20 minute walk to the heart of Dublin was disappointing.

Enjoyed my stay at hotel. Would go back there again. Enjoyed the spa too. I did find food and drink a bit expensive.

If you want close to o2 this is greatIt was very coneniant to get to the o2 literally walking distance. If you come out the front door and turn left until end of street and left again you come to a foot bridge turn right at the top of this and the o2 is just down the street. The hotel itself is lovely there is always a chance to get some food up until maybe nine and the staff seem to be very nice. The bar itself is nice and has a large range of cocktails. The Rooms are quiet spacious and comfortable.

The hotel was beautiful. The walls are paper thin. The staff was very kind, however they did not have enough information on the area. We finally found a market, bakery, and cafe located only 2 blocks from the hotel on the river side, only from the taxi driver. We used a blue eco cab, free, from O'Connel street to get back to the hotel. Wonderful, and the driver told us where alot of local places were. To use the pool, bring your bathing cap. Internet is only usable for 1.5 hours at a time in your room. The safe deposit boxes were free and fit our lap top and imp. papers etc. Always carry an umbrella

Comfortable room with great bed; everything is new. Faux tissue holder - housecleaning stuffed three tissues in it to make it look real. A moderately-priced hotel with comfortable amenities; but too far from the city center to be good for tourists. Construction next to the hotel can be noisy. Once the area is built up, it'll a much better location but that can be a couple of years from now.

Highly recommended. The hotel offerings are best for the price. The staff are good and very accomodating. New rooms + Excellent gym + good breakfast...

Money grabbingWhen booking in at reception the assistant took out 150 euro out of my credit card, she said this was to cover any breakages which may occur in our bedroom.

We stayed 7 days in Dublin and LOVED the Maldron hotel. It was clean and within easy walking distance to just about everything: Temple Bar, Grafton Street, the parks, and the Liffey- which made it easy to navigate. We used the fitness center everyday- most days we went sightseeing, returned to the hotel to swim or hot tub, have a cup of tea, and then go out again for dinner and the pubs. We especially appreciated the electric kettle in our room; it was so fast and spotless, and the restaurant in the lobby kept us provided with plenty of milk and tea and sugar since there were four of us and we quickly finished the tea provided by housekeeping. Also, the Maldron is very close to the Tara train station and the bus stops. It was quiet at night because it is in the business district. The beds were comfortable and the rooms spacious. We will definitely stay at a Maldron again.
