Great location and extensive buffet breakfast to set you up for the day. The rooms/cabins are small, and ours could certainly have done with some rejuvenation. Good value for money though.

Location is very good but the rooms are so small. Bunk beds seems the normal and they are very uncomfortable. We have stayed on boats before but this was the worst. On the last two days the rooms where not even made up and cleaned I could not recommend this hotel for anyone but the young and fit

This was our first visit to Stockholm and felt it would be different to stay on a boat!!! Accomodation was just as expected although the bunk beds were a surprise. Location close to the Old Town was excellent as we could walk everywhere and return to Hotel away from all the hustle and bustle. Choice at breakfast was excellent and very relaxed. If returning to Stockholm we would definitely return to Malardrottningen.

I stayed here with my 12 year old and it was an ideal location. We were able to walk to all the nearby attractions and the shops with no difficulty. We used the hop on hop off bus and the driver could not have been more helpful, telling us where to go shopping and which sights were best to see. It was like having our own tour guide and he even told us what time he would be back at the places he dropped us off so that he could pick us up again to continue with his extra commentry. He told us a lot of things that we would not have known otherwise. This was a great trip and I felt that another day or 2 would have been better to see lots of things we missed. Although I had been told that Stockholm was very expensive, I was still shocked by the price of things. However the prices on the boat were very reasonable compared to outside. The receptionist specifically put on the sauna just for us, she just needed half an hour to get it to the right temperature. Would definately recommend.

Perfect location, in fact can't be any central than that. The boat is just couple of hundred metres away from the Royal Palace and old town. We stayed 3 days and didn't need to use transport at all. Most attractions are in the centre maximum 20-30 minutes away on foot and some just around the corner. Boat itself is OK, sort of regular short trip cruise boat. Rooms are small but beds are comfortable. Having shower and toilet in the room for the price you pay is great. Most hotels in the same price range are further away and have shared facilities. Breakfast is very nice, adequate choice. Especially if you like herring, one they serve is of a very good quality. Staff are helpful and all speak perfect English.

The Restaurant was not open at all during our stay, only for breakfast. The breakfast menu is good. Good selection of food. There was no kettle on offer or availability of hot water or coffee in the evenings. Lots of spiders but that is expected on a permanently docked boat. The cabins were clean but we were only offered bunk beds and not a double as advertised online. Great location and easy to get to all areas of Stockholm. Fantastic Sunset area.

If you would like to stay on a boat in the middle of Stockholm, this is a great choice. The rooms are very small, as you would expect on an old boat, but the standard is good. The included breakfast was also fairly good. The location is as good as it gets.

This is a perfect location for a short term holiday for people with a sense of adventure. The cabins are limited in size but perfectly functional .

A wonderful quaint place to stay - the river still had huge chunks of ice floating in it which was wonderful to look at. The hotel is 5 mins walk max from both the the Old Town area which has lots of restaurants, shops and bars as well as 5 mins from the new Town area. It would not however suit someone staying there on their own as the walk is through a small square with no-one else around and at 10pm at night I found it very quiet and eerie due to the silence and tall buildings

Hotel was clean and staff friendly. Great breakfast and a perfect location in a quiet area right on the water. Quick walk to the heart of Gamla Stan. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something different. Also, very reasonable by Stockholm standards.
