The Majestic Malacca was originally a serene mansion built in the 1920s. Today, a new building mirrors the original architecture, housing 52 Deluxe Rooms and 2 Suites .

The design integrates the old with modern, original porcelain flooring, teakwood fittings, intricate artwork, antiques and finely crafted Nyonya cuisine echo the cultural and historical aspect of Malacca, ensuring that the total experience of guests is one that is culturally and historically authentic while including the pleasures of modern conveniences.

Bespoke furnishings call to mind the glory days of old Malacca, while floor-to-ceiling windows framed by silk drapes bathe the room with soft light. Resting on the warm timber floors is an inviting four poster bed finished in rich teak and dressed in cool cottons with an ornate silk runner. Luxuriate in the large clawfoot bathtub, either in secluded privacy or with the screen doors folded back to chat to your partner, or watch your favourite show on television surrounded by a fragrant bubble bath. Each room has a flat screen colour TV with satellite and music channels, a safe deposit box, mini-bar, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, writing desk and an IDD telephone.

Set between the Spa Village and the gymnasium, the beautiful outdoor swimming pool is a place to enjoy and soak up the tropical sun. Stylish loungers lining the waterside invite languorous relaxation.

Gourmet travellers will be well catered for at The Mansion Restaurant, as dishes from Portuguese, Dutch, English, and Baba-Nyonya cultures are combined in an adventurous fusion menu. Positioned near the entrance of the hotel, the Bar is the perfect place to unwind and relax, while warmly welcoming guests for a round of drinks and casual chit-chat in true traditional colonial style.
