Friendly but smellyThe staff here were exceedlingly friendly and attentive.I had a room on the ground floor which was clean and modern but had no window. I asked to change for a room with a window, but when I saw one, I I changed my mind. The rooms upstairs with windows are more old fashioned. My room downstairs was clean and modern but had no window. When I saw the older rooms, I decided to stick with the modern, albeit windowless room. There were renovations taking place while I was there, which meant there was a hell of a stink coming out of my bathroom!I enjoyed the fresh fruit for breakfast, but the rest was a bit samey, soggy toast, eggs in one shape or form, jam and spread left open to the flies. The entrance and restaurant decor were nice.
