My stay was for just one night, but I was totally surprised at the efficiency kitchen. It was very well equipped in such a small space. There was even a dishwasher! There is a full-sized bath, plenty of closet space, a comfortable bed and sitting area. The desk area was good for doing work and A young couple just starting out with a tight budget could easily spend a week at this hotel. The accommodations were very comfortable and the hotel amenities were conducive to a good experience.

This is practically a brand new hotel. All rooms have kitchenettes with flat top cook tops, full size frig, dishwasher, dishes and pots and pans. The whole hotel and rooms were very clean and smelled very nice. The pool was perfectly warm, and because the hotel wasn't especially crowded we had it all to ourselves. Speakers and mounted throughout the common areas and pool area played music made everything relaxing. There were 2 dog walking areas that provided tools for keeping that area clean. And even though we were relegated to the "dog wing" (--you know the area of the hotel thats for travelers with pets and where when you walk down the hall you hear every dog sniff at you through the door)--we didn't hear a thing. We saw other dogs but had no idea they were there. The rooms were so quiet we never heard the people/pets above or beside us. Room service cleaners also didn't come knocking on the door early like at some places. We didn't even see them around. Contrary to another review this hotel isn't far from the beach. She apparently didn't know where to look or expected the hotel to be 'right on the beach' which it is not. If you want white sand beaches just take 30A right down from the hotel, it goes to Cape San Blas . There's a park right by the firestation with beaches, playgrounds, picnic benches and everything you'd want. It's about a 5-10 minute drive to an uncrowded, secluded, free beach. Apilachicola which is great for shopping and dining was 20 miles away and about a 20 minute drive. Port Saint Joe was right down the road but not much there. The had a great boat ramp, park, and pier 5 minutes from the hotel.

The mainstay was very comfortable and clean. Checking in and out was easy and fast with a friendly staff. We were pulling our boat and also had security cameras and felt comfortable leaving our stuff.

This place is awesome as a hotel goes...great, friendly people, clean as a pen, great parking lot lighting, rooms are super, but did not realize and it was my fault that it is no where near a beach...any beach....and is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Like I said the hotel is wonderful just wish it had been near something~anything :)

I was impressed with the frienliness, and atmosphere,of the hotel in it's self,Rooms were just what you need for time way from home. far enough away from town to get away serene quitness,close enough to town, to stay intouch with everything.

We really enjoyed the location. It was not around a crowded area. We felt like we were awayfrom tourist. We only live about 90 mins. away and like it is a quick and nice get away.
