MAVERICK says: Great location for Freemont Street Experience, ample parking, large, nice rooms, A/C worked great, friendly Bell Hops, would gladly stay there again!

Had a very nice time. Food was very good. Rooms were nice.

This is a great place to stay if you want a great room at a low price. The casino is one of the most interesting in Vegas. Excellent buffet. Within walking distance to Freemont Street. Much better service than other downtown hotels and no marathon walks to get your room like at the Golden Nugget. If you can bear to be away from the strip this is a great place to stay.

I have family in Vegas so I go there often. This hotel was perfect because it was very close to the freeway which enabled me to travel within the city without having to fight all of the traffic of the top streets. The hotel was also very clean and quiet.

1 block from bus terminal, easy trip to the strip - get the three day pass, can get on/off bus up and down strip unlimited times; 1block from Fremont Experience -fun free entertainment; quiet charm hotel with clean, comfortable rooms; excellent food in private dining room/wedding reception. Breakfast buffet variety of healthy or sinful foods - your choice;microbrewery onsite. Only downside is homeless congregate along block/Pullman display during day, but not aggressive, and disappear early/late evening.

I was really only there to sleep at night, but the room was big, clean and quite. I had no troubles there at all.

Main Street Station is a very nice hotel. The rooms are nice and the staff was very accommodating with our needs. I've stayed here before and would stay here again in the future.

Excellent time visiting downtown and the old strip

The room was plain but large and the bed was comfortable. Although the sleeping room was clean, the bathroom was full of hair and I had to ask that it be cleaned. The casino is just the right size and the brewery had good food. Location also was good except for the fact that it is right next to the railroad track and it got a bit noisy. My main complaint with this hotel was the lack of amenities. Coffee from the bar and a swimming pool at the connecting hotel that couldn't be much smaller or plain. Overall, I would recommend this place for the price and quaintness. If you want to swim or drink coffee, you might consider a different hotel.

Great hotel for the price but be sure to ask for a room that is away from the expressway which is right next to the hotel. I had a room on the 17th floor and it was at eye level with the highway. It sounded like I was sitting in a lawn chair on the median strip. I immediately went to the front desk and they graciously moved me to a room on the same floor but on the other side of the building. The room afforded a wondeful view of downtown Las Vegas and it was acceptably quiet.

If you like downtown Las Vegas, this is a nice place to stay. The room was clean, comfortable, adequate towels and most importantly, the cups were plastic and sealed in plastic. I trust these more than glass cups with a cover on it... The hotel was clean, but I didn't really care for the "rustic" style of the hotel. Lobby was large, but front desk was efficient with only 4 windows, compared to 20+ with hotels on the strip. Front desk people didn't smile and seemed cold. The buffett was delicious with good variety. Staff there was friendly. The other restaurant had very delicious prime rib. Made my trip! Staff didn't care too much about you... bartender, host and waitress. The ones I dealt with. Oh yeah, another downside is that there aren't too many (if any) cabs around. Call front desk to have them call in advance, it takes a bit long to arrive... Good luck!

bathrooms really need updating. they are a bit crowded and dingy. beds...really not so great. we really didn't like that the housekeeper kept trying to get into our room while we were in it. even after we put the "do not disturb" sight out

Hotel very accessable with great location. For the money, you simply cannot beat this place! I was in town for the ABC National Bowling Tournament being held at the Cashman Center and it was a very easy hop away. You can easily walk to the Freemont Street Experience. Very easy to get to the main strip. I have friends that live in town and it was to get away to their house and back to the hotel. Rooms were very large and clean -- they were easy to get to as well. Parking was very close. I will be back!!!

Check in time was afternoon but got there early and asked to check in our room at 11 am with no problems. The decoration is very special and the seafood buffet we had on Saturday night is very good compare to others in Downtown Vegas

The Main Street is a consistantly good value. Room sizes are very amply. Addition of refrigerator is a real plus

It was a beautiful hotel with old world charm. The beds were extremely comfortable and I didnt even know there were other people in the hotel, it was so quiet. I would recommend staying at this hotel to anyone.

Main Street Station Hotel and Casino was very nice. My room was really nice it was the cleanest I have been in in a long time and we travel 4 or 5 times a year. there was plenty of room to move around it was extremely clean. I don't spend a lot of time in my room when I am in Vegas but I found myself spending more time than usual in my room. everything was closeto walk to and it is easy to get either a shuttle or a cab to the airport. Be sure to watch your cabbies. If you have them take you from Main street Station to the airport using Paradise Road it should not cost over $20.00 to $21.00.

This hotel had up to date rooms. The casino part of the hotel is smoking the only real drawback. The location for a trade show at the World Market Center was great. They need new towels!

The Main Street Hotel room was very comfortable. The bed was nice and the room was larger than I thought it would be.
