A wonderful place. We will be back again.

From the moment we drove into the driveway until we left was fabulous! If you wish to be waited on hand and foot or be on the beach then don't go here. BUT if you want a romantic Italian villa feel.....this is it? They had full breakfast everyday, tea & cookies in the afternoon, and wine/beer in the evening. An easy drive around the island. We ate across the street at Frankie Bones and on the bay @ Old Fort Inn (fabulous sunset). The island is so beautiful. You can't see the homes, Walmart, CVS, Target, filling stations from the road....only manicured woods!

We were so excited when we arrived at The Main Street Inn! The grounds were beautiful, inviting and peaceful. The room was beautifully furnished and had all the extras to make our stay memoriable. Breakfast was delicious. The friendly staff went the extra mile to make sure that all of our needs were met. We will definitely stay and The Main Street Inn when we visit again!

This was a great hotel- we had a wonderful time and could walk to several different restaurants around the area. The rooms were fantastic- big bathrooms and very comfortable. The gardens and the pool were gorgeous! I would stay here again!

We were very pleased with this hotel. The room and bathroom were larger than usual, with more of a home-y feel than you'd expect from a hotel. We had a very quiet third floor room overlooking the lovely courtyard ( I think all rooms do) with fountains and pool. Not on the beach, which is fine as we are not beach people, but steps away from a small shopping/casual dining area which also has a grocery store (small refrigerator in room). A few miles drive to see any other plantations, sites or fine dining on HHI, but would definitely stay here again, and recommend it for non beach, quiet adults.

Wonderful! The staff was welcoming and treated us like we were the special guests they had been waiting for. If you're a detail person like I am, you will love the quality of this place... from the fine linens, Lindt truffles on the pillows, Tazo Tea available at all hours, complimentary wine in the evening, to the delicious breakfast they have all their bases covered. We almost didn't want to leave the hotel. BTW- Would not recommend taking the trolley tour that goes from the Museum
