The waterfront Mahkota Hotel Melaka is located next to Malaka's new commercial hub at Melaka Raya, across the road from Mahkota Parade, and approximately 55 miles from Kuala Lumpur International Airport. This location is at Jalan Merdeka, within walking distance of A'Famosa, and approximately eight miles from Melaka/Batu Berendam Airport.

Hotel amenities include the fitness center, sauna, two swimming pools, kids' pool with waterslide, tennis and squash courts, mini-golf, and game room. On-site dining is available at Cafe Mahkota (international and local fare), Spices (authentic Asian specialties), Bay Lounge & Terrace (cocktails and snacks), the Balcony (piano bar), Pizza Terrace (oven-baked pizza), Hibiscus Pool Bar, and Dolphin Pool Bar. The hotel also offers room service.
