Great service from hotel staff.

Was recommended by someone who lives in Victoria. The best part of the hotel was the room. The bathroom was big and spacious and generous with Aveda product amenities. The staff were pleasant and helpful and upgraded us when I inquired. The really weak point was the breakfast. It was the worst continental breakfast I've ever had. Nothing healthy being offered ie. only 2% milk, full fat yogurts, and NO fruit except some apples. The juice offered was full sugar grapefruit or orange juice. They really need to step it up in the healthy choice offerings. The reception area looked worn and not nearly as nice as the pictures shown online. I wish there was a pool. For the price you pay, there should be. Location was excellent, close to all restaurants and main center of city. For the money, I would rather stay at a bed and breakfast in Victoria. It is known for the best B&B's anywhere (I've stayed at a few there) and they offer amazing breakfasts.

If you want to be downtown and have access to all amenities of Victoria this is the hotel for you. The Magnolia Hotel is top drawer. I stay at hotel's often for business. This hotel exceeded all expectations, comfortable classic furnishings, top of line bedding. Clean and comfortable and a gracious staff. Can't be beat for comfort and quality.

Location, breakfast, cleanliness and rooms were well appointed.

"My husband and I have hopped from almost every hotel in the downtown area and this is by far the best. The entire staff is outstanding, every single employee we encountered were friendly and smiling. The spa is also very nice. Contintental breakfast was great. If it had a pool we would never, ever have to go anywhere else..."

Perfect location, clean, friendly, would definitely stay there again! Maybe the breakfast, free, just , well never mind, free! Beautiful hotel! Close toall amenities, 20 minutes drive to But chart Gardens. Within walking distance of everything at the wharf. Great Staff! Great Spa on the premises! Wonderful time there!

Friendly and responsive service. Initial room had a view of a roof. Overall this is a great hotel at which to stay. I believe it should be categorized as a 3.5 star hotel rather than a 4.

Downtown location. Nothing to complain about. Bright, cheerful view of the surrounding downtown ambiance. Close to local night life and great access to the heart of Victoria's tourist district.

Central location and breakfast. Old carpets in room and annoying lights in bathroom. Great location except for proximity to Soup kitchen across the road. Very good breakfast and cheerful staff.

Included with room is a very good buffet for breakfast. Parking at $15.00 is too expensive. Small and comfortable boutique hotel. Very good location. Rooms are comfortable and very clean.

Not a speck of dust anywhere! Street noise after night clubs exit. Classy hidden gem!

Excellent location, cleanliness of rooms and linens, comfortable bed, great bathtub and spa products. Front desk was too small to accommodate multiple check ins comfortably. One of the finest hotels I've ever stayed in and I used to be in the hotel business.

Continental breakfast was unappealing.

Great location, close to Harbor and waterfront. Parking charges. Though they were reasonable. Small, quaint and romantic. Easy access to downtown.
