I enjoyed a lovely evening at the hotel with a walk about the downtown area. Staff was helpful and provided excellent service. I loved the room beauty products and was given extra by the maid as I departed. I will stay again on my next trip to Madison.

I am a frequent traveler (both foreign and domestic) for business and pleasure. Without a doubt the Madison Concourse Hotel is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The rooms and accommodations are excellent. The staff is professional, competent and courteous. The great location (downtown across from the State Capitol) means there are plenty of fun and interesting things to see and do. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer. I plan on returning soon.

We selected this hotel and the Governor's Room package as a recommendation from a friend for our 39th wedding anniversary getaway. The service was excellant, the room very nice and the amenities fabulous. We were treated as very special guests and were given access to the 12th floor by special keyed elevator. The drinks and hors d'oeuvres were well received. We are going to make an excuse to do this again. The friendliest people in the world are there in Madison.

I stayed at the concourse madison for one night in June. The room was spotlessly clean. I stayed in a room by the elevator, and noise was a major issue. There were several wedding going on that weekend in Madison, and I had difficulties sleeping because of the noise from people coming back from their receptions. Because of my poor room location next the elevator, I heard a lot of talking/shouting. Other than that, the hotel was great.

Excellent location and good shower. Lots of room. The service was not good. When we were having difficulties with the TV, the front desk assured us someone would be right up. None came. 45 minutes later, the front desk called to ask if we had figured it out on our own. They did not apologize for not following through and sending someone up. The hotel was not busy, and staff downstairs were clearly not busy. The facility itself was very nice. Air conditioner was loud, and it was hard to regulate the temperature.

My husband and I were lucky enough to win a stay at this beautiful hotel for a weekend. I thought I knew a thing or two about customer service until I came here. There isn't a single thing that is negative about this hotel. Everything from the parking garage to the employees and the dining. Not only that but the floor we stayed on was under construction and still did not get disturbed a single time. The room was fabulous. The cleanest room I have ever seen. Also the bed is the absolute most comfortable bed that I have ever slept upon. The front desk employees were quick and very courteous while checking us both in and out. The shuttle services were great. It was a very very cold Wisconsin winter day and still the chauffers were pleased to take us anywhere we wanted to go. The dining was absolutely incrediable. The waitstaff impressed me to the point of disbelief. Even after my stay, they stayed in contact with me about some questions I had about the salt and pepper shakers. It is definately the little things that mean the most and this hotel in full of them. If I am ever in the Madison area again, I will not stay at any other hotel. I would and will recommend this hotel to anybody who wants a worry free stay and the best customer service that I have ever seen.

What we love most is the option of staying in the Governor?s Tower. There is an excellent a private lounge with free drinks and hors d'oeuvres option early in the evening before going out to dinner and later in the evening desserts and aperitifs ? this provides a most relaxing option to beginning and ending our evening out on the town. In the morning a lovely breakfast with wonderful Alterra coffee is served in the private lounge ? major daily newspapers are available. We could enjoy a leisurely breakfast before shopping or business. The hotel is quiet, immaculate and staffed with very friendly people who will do their best to satisfy any request. The location is the best in Madison. We?ve made the Concourse our only Madison hotel of choice for 9 years.

The Madison Concourse Hotel was located a block away from Capitol Square, and one block from State Street, making this the perfect location for a visit to Madison. We were a bit disappointed by the cleanliness of our room, as it did not get cleaned the second day of our stay. The other amenities, however, exceeded our expectations and I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to the Madison area.

Truck wouldn't fit in parking structure. No as good as the Crowne plaza madison that we stayed in. Space at the Concourse was confined. 5th floor was a little warm and didn't smell fresh. Bedroom was very mediocre for star level of hotel.

The Madison Concourse Hotel will take care of every situation that you may encounter. From the airport shuttle( to and from the airport at no cost), to any way that your stay can be made more pleasant. Every staff member is friendly, helpful, and courteous in every way. And that's a very important factor when you're in Madison for the first time and do not know anyone. For someone staying there on business, just about everything that you may want is at the facility. The pool, restaurants, entertainment, and internet access. You name it, it's there. If I were vacationing in Madison, Wisconsin, I would stay at the Madison Concourse Hotel. It's simply wonderful!

My husband and I stayed at the Madison Concourse over Easter weekend - got a fantastic rate which included Easter Brunch on Sunday. The rooms were recently updated - extremely comfortable, large, clean and quiet. The location was perfect for walking to most places we wanted to explore in town. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay - with this being our first visit to Madison, we greatly appreciated the recommendations and directions. The fitness facilty had a great selection of equipment - in a bright space. The pool and sauna were also a great amenity. Easter brunch was fantastic - delicious assortment of foods and great service. We will definitely return to the Madison Concourse soon.

Hotel is located in the heart of the downtown area so we were able to walk to all the bars in the area. It was great! Very nice hotel rooms and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Good size bar and dining area.

I love upper scale hotels and this place was awesome for the price I got it for. The hotel was a bit on the older side and could have used some updates.

I attended a conference in September and was very happy with everything. The price was reasonable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food and facilities were near perfect. Its location is great too. I would like to return here on vacation someday.

My boyfriend and I live in Milwaukee and decided to celebrate my birthday in Madison. We heard that the Madison Concourse Hotel was the place to stay and we weren't disappointed! We stopped in the lobby bar and had a drink and some Wisconsin cheese curds. The service was great and the food was delicious! The rooms are very nice too. The Comfort Collection bedding is very luxurious! I felt right at home. The pillows are especially fantastic!!! I plan to buy some! Then we stopped in the Governor's Club's for a quick drink before dinner. It was packed and alive with Wisconsin fans!!! The staff was extremely friendly and provided great service. We found a table with a beautiful view of the state Captital and enjoyed the fun atmosphere. There is no doubt that we will stay at the Concourse the next time we are in Madison!

Friendly, accomodating staff. Garage parking spaces and access require very careful maneuvering. The Madison Concourse has a classic hotel feel. The staff and hotel itself are nice and promote a relaxing visit.

We were in Madison with our family over the Thanksgiving weekend; and were most pleased with the location, in addition to the accomodations, price, value, and service in all areas we used. The decorations and furnishings are elegant, and we felt right at home in such beautiful, luxurious surroundings. We were in the Governor's Club area, and everything was top notch. We were late getting to the club for the hors d'oeuvre; however, the drinks, desserts, and breakfast the following morning were excellent in every way. My son and husband used the sauna and pool area and enjoyed that; however, the chlorine (which I know needs to be at a high level for sanitary reasons) was too strong for me, as I am sensitive to chemicals. The parking was perfect, and extrememely convenient. The bed was just the right firmness for someone with a bad back, which I appreciated; however, I was surprised that the pillows were not down, which I prefer. The sheets are obviously very high quality, and felt that way. We are used to a softer type of toilet paper than your hotel uses. It reminded me of being in a school bathroom. The toiletries you provided were appreciated by everyone. We stayed at your hotel in June, 1994; and found it to be as good now as it was then. Many hotels or motels are too noisy nowadays, so we were glad that your hotel was quiet enough for a good night's sleep. My husband always tells me that I am too fussy; I tell him that I am just discriminating. You met our expectations in nearly every way. Thanks for being there.

It was close to Madison's capitol and state street shopping. I liked this hotel. I would have preferred not to have to pay overnight parking for our vehicles. I think that should be included. Otherwise a very fine stay.
