Madang Resort Hotel

Madang Resort is located on 15 acres of landscaped gardens with 1km waterfrontage onto Madang Harbour overlooking Krangket Island and in the distance Kar Kar Island.

It is 7kms from airport and 1 km from the Centre of the Madang Township and accessed by private road, past the Marina and Forum Park.

The Madang resort has 110 rooms ranging from standard, deluxe and executive waterfront bungalows. In addition it has two Presidential Suites all with ensuites, LCD TV with satellite reception, radio, fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, balconies, air conditioning. All rooms have views of the harbour and gardens.

Facilities include tennis court, PADI Dive Shop, canoe, kayak, sailing boat, bike and car hire. Business Centre, Fitness Centre, hair salon, gift shop and large convention Centre with five different Meeting and Banquet Rooms that can accommodate up to 350.

There are 3 restaurants serving Western, Chinese and Japanese menus plus Pizzas. There are 4 swimming pools available to guests.

In addition to the rooms, there are 7 townhouses available for longer term accommodation.

The Haus Win Restaurant is located alongside the waterfront and provides an extensive Chinese menu and pizzas. There is a cocktail bar open daily from 10am until close at night.

The Janek Aben Resaurant is air conditioned, seats 100 and has a western a-la-carte menu which specializes in seafood. The Mileng Aben cocktail bar is also available

The Rakuen Japanese restaurant is located in the Haus Win Restaurant and is open by appointment to serve Teppenkaki and other Japanese cuisine.

The Resort offers full room service between 6am-9.30pm daily.

In addition to the above, Marquees are available for special occasions including mumu (traditional feasts) and can be erected at Forum Park or any other location in Madang including some of the many beautiful Islands in the Harbour where local entertainment can be provided.
