Finally the rooms have been renovated. The smell from the room deodoriser was over powering and I had to leave the windows wide open - even that did not help.

I have travelled a lot and seen many kind of apartments but I have to say that this one was one of the best and not only because of the view!! The staff was really professional and helpful and the location was superb!! I would recommend this place to anyone :).

We had a studio apartment on the 8th floor with stunning views over the harbour. The kitchen was simply equipped but was fine for a few days stay. We managed to prepare dinner for a guest...... The staff were very helpful and friendly. We would recommend this hotel for this and its convenient location-- bus or train to centre---my husband took the 25 min walk through Botanical Gardens with the locals instead. Watch the fruit bats fly past your window at dusk.

Very convenient to various eating establishments. Thai next door excellent value. Also handy to supermarket for those essentials. Train (Kings Cross Station) just a short easy walk through a cosmopolitan area of Sydney. Suited us perfectly for our all-too-brief stay (3 nights). Nice view of harbour, bridge and Opera House. Definitely value for money. Would stay there again.

This hotel is in a good location at a very good price. The facilities in the room for preparation of food and drink were excellent. The room was serviced promptlyand kept very clean; the staff were very helpful.

This is a great Hotel to stay at in Sydney. The views are first rate. The rooms are not luxurious and bathrooms a little cramped. There is vehicle parking in the cellar (very rare in Sydney) Kings X and good dining is only a few minutes walk away. There is a Woolworths across the road for those things you need while travelling. Good value for money!

Great location, close to Hop on/off bus and city bus line. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Pity construction next door interrupted what should have been a great view.

Friendly & helpful staff. Normal checkout is 11.00 am which is useful & they have storage & changing facilities if you have a late departure from Sydney. Excellent harbour views from rooms, although these will be restricted with ongoing nearby developements.

Very good shopping facilities for groceries around the hotel and nice cafes and restaurants. Reception staff are very helpful and professional. Top floor view I had is stunning. Although there is a construction site almost next door it did not disturb my room. My room had a well-equiped kitchenette. All in all, Macleay Appratments in Potts Point exceeded my expectations. The only thing I would have wished for was a in-room safe. You pay for the internet connection.

Service at reception was first class. The one drawback of this otherwise excellent apartment hotel was that it was not possible to cook without the smells lingering in the room.
